Summary:

Hoseok tells the story about the fight between Yoongi and Namjoon.

Notes:

Nov 12; edit: I was re reading this and notice a lot of typos and grammar errors. Like... a lot. So I tried to fixed them the best I could (there are probably still more there but I hope it’s better). If you read this before this update... I’m so sorry 😭 I will try my best that future fics have better grammar than this one had.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“Oh, so that’s what you think?” Yoongi asks, crossing arms over his chest.

“Yes, do you have a problem with that?” Answers Namjoon standing straight.

“I never thought you would be that kind of person Namjoon-ah”, he shakes his head. “I’m so disappointed”.

“Disappointed? For that?” Says with disbelief and starts pacing around the room. “Are you kidding me now?”

“You don’t seem to want to change your mind, so yes, I’m disappointed”, he stands up, “And until you do, I don’t want to talk to you”.

“This is so stupid hyung”, says but Yoongi starts walking to the hall. “I’m talking with you!”, there isn’t a response. “Hyung!” Screams at him and walks in the same direction leaving the room.

There are some muffled voices arguing, a door slamming, and then another one. Then just silence.

The rest of the members share a look between them in silence, the atmosphere still tense until Taehyung speaks.

“Should we be worried?” Asks to no one in specific.

“I never thought they would fight. And about that”, says Jimin with a worried expression.

“Yeah, it was surprising”, agrees Seokjin, nodding, “But don’t worry too much, they will be fine when they cool down”, says before standing and walking to the kitchen.

“Are you sure?” Asks Jimin following with his eyes, “I have never seen them fight like this before”, explains. A snort is heard from the couch. Jimin frowns at that, “What is so fun about that?”

Hoseok looks up from his phone to him, “There is nothing to worry about”, assures him, “I wouldn’t even consider this an argument”.

“They were almost screaming hyung”, mentions Taehyung hugging his legs from the other couch.

“They barely raised their voice”, shrugs without giving it importance, “It’s fine, really”. Both ‘95 liners look at each other and then at his hyung doubting, “What? Oh come on, why don’t you believe me? You have seen them fight before”, they both shake their heads in negation. “Really?” Says with authentic disbelief.

“They weren’t in the team back then hyung”, mentions Jungkook by his side. Hobi’s mouth an O at the realization.

“That’s right”, says Seokjin coming back with a bottle of water and sitting on the individual couch, “You have lived with them the longest, by the time Taehyung and Jimin joined they were on better terms”.

“Did they fight a lot before?” Jimin asks and gains sighs from Jin and Jungkook and a mocking laugh from Hoseok.

“That’s what all they did”, Hoseok answers and starts rubbing his temples, “Just remind it to give me a headache”.

“For real?” Says Taehyung, more interested in the subject. “I can’t imagine”.

Jimin nods agreeing from the floor, “They are always so in sync, it’s difficult to imagine”.

“That wasn’t always like that”, explains and the two friends look at him, waiting. “What? Do you want me to tell you about it?” They both nod, expecting. Hoseok looks at his hyung who just shrugs and takes a sip of water, and then to Jungkook who just looks attentive to him with his big doe eyes. He can’t help the big sigh but just puts his phone on the couch and cross his arms. “Alright then, I will tell you about the nightmare that was living then with them”. Hoseok sighs again, “It’s gonna be a long night...”

—-

Hoseok knew that living with a bunch of hormonal teenagers wouldn’t be easy. It wasn’t his first experience dealing with so many boys trying to get along together. Hell, he was a teenager himself, full of hormones that make him irritable and angsty, he knew he wasn’t the best to deal when his mood wasn’t good. But Hoseok still tries to be a good teammate, that his swing moods don’t affect the team dynamic and overall just try to be a good person.

But they. They don’t try at all and it was driving him crazy. He didn’t understand what was the problem with them.

When Hoseok started living in the dorms, it was him and other six guys in a room and somehow back then it was calmer. But now that it was just him, Jungkook, Namjoon and Yoongi there, life was more stressful.

Don’t get him wrong, he doesn’t have any personal problem with them. Namjoon was a good friend to him, really patient, and passionate about music. And Yoongi was probably the hardworking person he knew, really talented and kind. And really, he don’t have a problem with them, both of them help him to learn more about rapping and music. But when they both were alone together, they just seemed to explode.

Hoseok can only sigh thinking about it.

(Bless Jungkook. He was just a cute shy boy that seems to follow him around the dorm, really quiet and obedient. Probably the only one who still keeps him sane).

He really doesn't understand what happened. When he first met them, they were fine. Sure, there was an ongoing rivalry between them, both underground rappers that knew each other before joining the same company. They would argue about music, even diss each other when they rap together but they always seem to come to an agreement about what was the best for the team. And it was fine, really. Even admirable.

But from some time to the date, something changed. What it was? Hoseok don’t know. It was like one day they woke up and decide that can’t stand each other. Every disagreement scale quickly like there was explosive in the air, they couldn’t just talk anymore, everything the other said was wrong in their eyes and they made sure to let the other know that.

Jungkook and he were usually caught in the crossfire, trying to mediate between them when things get out of control. In the best-case scenarios, they would just be passive-aggressive or just plainly ignore each other. Hoseok counts those as the tiny victories, everything that gives him and Jungkook a bit of peace was a victory he would celebrate. Sadly, they save their pettiness for when they were in the company or in public. But when they were in their studio or the dorm...

Hoseok sighs again. He really didn't know how long that would last before start affecting the team for real.

“Rough night?” Asks the oldest sitting on the floor in front of him. His presence brought him back to the present, they were in the practice room stretching so they could start their dance practice soon. Hoseok looks deadpanned at his hyung, “Sorry”, says him although didn’t seem sorry at all.

Hoseok shakes his head and stretches his arms to touch the tip of his foot, “Just the usual”. Seokjin hums in respond, “You should go live with us hyung, I’m sure they will appreciate some oldest hyung authority. I know I would appreciate some older hyung authority”.

“If I’m honest with you, the way you talk about the dorm doesn’t make me want to live there”.

“And it looks like I like living there?” Asks almost hysterical, “You don’t see how happy I’m to live with them?”

“It isn’t that bad...”, says Jungkook by his side, his presence almost invisible.

“Jungkook-ah...”, starts saying Hoseok tiredly but he just shakes his head.

“Really, it isn’t that bad”, he bends to the front, more than to stretch to hide. “They are just stressed, it will be fine”, says like he was trying to convince himself.

Seokjin and he share a look before he sighs again looking at the youngest. “Stressed my ass, I’m the only one who lives stressed because they seem to try to kill each other every time they are in the same room”. He looks back at the oldest, “Really hyung, why don’t you start living with us?”

“I’m sorry Hoseok but I can’t do that”, apologizes.

He starts frowning his lips, “You are a coward hyung. Full offense”.

Seokjin laughs softly, “I will talk to them”.

“But you have already talked to them!” Says tiredly, “But they don’t listen, they just come back to the same and I just want to...”, he was about to gesture something but notices that now Jungkook is looking at him. “Jungkook, cover your eyes for a moment please”, the youngest look at him for a moment but do as told. Only then he puts his hands on-air as he strangled an invisible someone, but it only lasts a few seconds before dropping his arms tired. “You can uncover your eyes now Jungkookie”.

“It will be fine hyung”, assures him caressing his back.

Hoseok smiled tiredly at him, “It will be really fine with them?”

As if they were listening, the practice room doors opens and Namjoon and Yoongi entered the room. And they weren’t happy. But when they were happy? Hoseok forgot when was the last time he saw them smile together. At least as soon as they entered they start stretching on different sides of the room. Smalls victories, he repeats to himself.

Minutes later, the choreographer started the practice. Dancing was one of the things he enjoys the most in the world. No, scratch that. Dancing is the thing he loves the most in the world, his first love, a dancer before than a rapper. He was happy that they added dancing to the group. Although it seems like he was the only happy about it. Neither of them danced before this; Jungkook is a fast learned and Seokjin not that much but he was trying really hard and they seem to enjoy it at least. But Yoongi seems like he was doing it just because there wasn’t other option, resigned to this and Namjoon plainly just doesn’t like it at all and he make sure that everyone know it with his attitude. Hoseok takes personal offense on that.

Still, they still follow the choreographer’s instructions at the best of their capacities. But as the practice runs long, their energies and patience start spreading thin too and they start clashing again. Metaphorically and literally.

“Yah, Namjoon, start watching where are you going”, says Yoongi when Namjoon pushes him to go to his position in the choreography.

“Sorry”, says, clenching his teeth.

“Say it like you mean it”, orders, already getting mad.

“Well, I don’t”, he simply states looking at him.

“Okay guys”, interrupts the choreographer knowing where this was going, “time for a break!”

Everyone disperses in the room and Hoseok can only sigh again like he’s been for so long now.

—-

He sighs again when unlocking the door of their dorms.

Their studio time was a complete fail. They were supposed to start producing a song for their monthly evaluation. Just throw in some ideas and see what happens. They definitely threw around some ideas but not the kind they were wanted or useful unless they were writing a diss track. The things scaled quickly as they always do, so Seokjin ordered to stop work, rest for the day and come back on Monday. They reluctantly agreed to stop working on the song for now, although Yoongi stayed on their studio on his own, much to the disagree of Namjoon. It required Seokjin’s hyung mode and Jungkook’s puppy eyes to convince him to come back with them.

As soon as they entered, Namjoon claimed the bathroom to shower. He better not leave them without hot water or Yoongi will be the least of his problems.

Hoseok throws his bag on the floor of the living room and looks around. Their dorms are a disaster. Trash everywhere, dirty plates, and clothes everywhere. The condition of their apartment doesn't help him with his mood.

“Are you alright hyung?” Asks Jungkook appearing by his side when he heard him grunt loudly.

“Yeah, it's just...”, he gestures to the room, “this is a mess”.

“And you haven’t seen the room yet”, jokes but it only makes him pinch the bridge of his nose. “Maybe we could clean it up?” he suggests.

“Now? I just want to shower and sleep until New Year”, exaggerates. Not really an exaggeration though.

“Not now. We can do it tomorrow since is our free day. Maybe seeing the dorms clean would make the hyungs feel better”, mentions with a little hope in his voice.

“If they are acting like this because the dorm is dirty I’m gonna enslave myself to keep it clean. Or enslave them, I don’t know”.

Jungkook laughs softly. The bathroom door opened and a clean Namjoon came out. Hoseok didn’t waste time and went in too.

A quick shower, a simple dinner and they went to bed. If they really want to clean up their apartment tomorrow, they need to regain all their energy.

By the time he wake up, at almost 8 am, damn his body for that, the room only have him and Jungkook. He doesn’t know if Yoongi ever came back or where Namjoon was. But he wasn’t going to complain about having a peaceful morning.

“Small victories”, he mutters to himself going out of the room.

A quick trip to the bathroom and then to the kitchen show him that Namjoon wasn’t there. And Hoseok knew he was in the studio where Yoongi also is because where the hell he would be? He was sure that Namjoon is a masochistic.

“A stupid masochist”, murmurs opening their fridge.

“Who is masochistic?”

Hoseok is sure his scream was heard a couple of floors around. He holds himself to the fridge door with his other hand on his chest, feeling how his heart tries to escape.

“Jungkook why you did that? Are you trying to kill me?” Accuses the youngest, he just look at him with a funny expression.

“I’m sorry hyung”, says although he doesn't sound sorry at all, “I didn't think you would get that scared”.

“You thought wrong then”, assures him, gaining a smile from Jungkook.

“Are we gonna clean the dorms?” Asks reminding them of last night's conversation.

Hoseok looks around again, and with the sunlight the room looks worse. “Oh we will, this gonna look so clean that they're gonna kiss our feet in gratitude”, says sure of himself, “are you ready Jungkookie?”

After a quick breakfast, they start their task. Pick up the trash, do the dishes, change their sheets, do laundry, vacuum everything. At first, it seemed easy, but as the time pass, he start feeling discouraged. How was even legal to live in a place so dirty? Sure, they created that mess themselves but damn, there was yogurt that expired six months ago and some indeterminate vegetal in the fridge. How that even happened? What was wrong with them?

But anyway, having their living space clean, tidy and smelling good would do wonders to their mood. His mood was already feeling better after their kitchen cabinet recovered their white color. And it wasn’t all bad, Jungkook was doing a wonderful job and being a good company too. Really, bless that kid.

After hours of hard work and finally folding the clean clothes, they are almost done.

“We are done!” Exclaims throwing himself back to the bed almost ruining the piles of clothes with the movement. “Let’s go eat”, says with a smile.

“Shouldn’t we put this on the closet?” Mentions Jungkook.

“Ugh, we can do that later. Let’s go eat, I’m hungry”, Jungkook’s stomach grunts, “and so are you. Come on”, he sits up again, “Hyung gonna buy anything you want”.

His face brightens, “Really?”

“Yeah, come on, let’s go”.

After cleaning up themselves, they go out to the restaurant they always go to after practice. The aunt there knows them really well and always gives them extra food, which was what they needed now. They stuff their faces until they can't eat more, both deserve it and need it anyway.

They come back to their dorms about an hour later with ice cream, for themselves and the other two that probably gonna be there or coming soon later. He wondered if they will notice the change in the dorms. They better praise the shit out of them or this is not gonna end well.

When they got to their floor and opened the door, the first thing they heard is some muffled discussion. Hoseok can feel how his mouth starts frowning almost involuntarily. They enter the apartment and follow the sound until their bedroom.

As soon as he opened the door, his mood went down.

Hoseok pride himself on being a pacifist. He wasn’t really fond to fight and always tried to be more logical to avoid conflict. So him getting mad, like really mad, wasn’t something that happened too often.

But now. Now, Hoseok could understand what people mean when they say they saw red.

Their hard work, the hours that took them to collect all the clothes, to wash and dry them and then to fold them, just for these stupid guys to threw it, literally, like is nothing? He really didn’t care what they were fighting about now. Hoseok was too tired to care now, but oh they would hear from him.

“Jungkook”, whispers to the youngest without removing his eyes from the others, “can you go to the living room please?” He orders, trying to maintain his voice calm.

“Hyung...”, starts with worry on this expression.

“Please, just... go. Listen to me please”.

There is silence for a moment and then he could hear his steps going back to the other room. Hoseok enters their room, the others still ignoring his presence, and close the door behind him. They continue arguing but in his ears, it sounds like an annoying buzz. A really really annoying buzz.

“Shut up!” He just screams without warning. “Just shut up both of you!” They stop and look at him, a surprised expression on his face, “I’m so tired of you! Always fighting without a reason, always ruining everything. What the hell is this mess? We spend the whole day cleaning up everything and you just throw it away like it is nothing? I’m tired, tired!”

“Hoseok...”, someone tries to speak to him but he just cuts him off.

“Shut up I said!” Screams again clenching his hands, “I don’t want to hear you! I don’t want to hear any of you! I’m so sick of both of you, sick of everything! Don’t talk to me ever again! I’m done with you”, says firmly and leaves the room slamming the door.

“Hyung...”, he hears when he passes by the living room.

“I’m going to the company”, announces collecting his stuff in a bag.

“I will go with you”.

“No”, cuts him off immediately, “I want to be alone. Just stay here... I’m gonna be fine”, he turns to see him almost standing up but then just decide to sit again and nod at him.

Hoseok sighs again and just leaves the dorms.

—-

After spending hours dancing trying to release the anger that was consuming his being, he comes back to the dorms at some point in the morning. Everyone was sleeping so he just showered and went to sleep. Hours later, when he wake up, both Namjoon and Yoongi tried to apologize to him but he just ignored them. He continued his morning like always and went to the company with Jungkook, acting like they didn’t exist at all.

And that’s how he spends the next days. Acting like the other two rappers don’t exist. He didn’t talk to them at all or acknowledge their existence which probably was making both of them fight more, blaming each other. That really wasn’t helping their case but that was up to them. If they wanted to keep fighting, by all meaning they can keep doing it. It wasn’t his business anymore, his group now was just Jungkook, Seokjin, and him.

Hoseok knew that he was being really petty but in all honesty, he didn’t care at all. No amount of dancing would be enough to let him forget the angry he was still feeling inside him. So he will continue to be petty until he gets tired of that. So... yeah, never.

“So”, says Seokjin when they start stretching for dance practice, “are you still mad?”

Hoseok looks deadpanned at him once again, “Keep asking and I will be mad at you too”.

The oldest laughed softly at him, “Sorry, sorry, I was just making sure”.

“You don’t have to keep asking. I will be mad until the end, forever and ever, into the infinity, and three times more”, assures him and Seokjin snorted at that. “What?”

“Aren’t you exaggerating a little bit?”

“You really want me to be mad at you, don’t you?”

“Alright alright, stop threatening me”, says trying to calm him. “I get that you are mad, I understand that, I would be mad in your position too. But we are still a team, you can’t ignore them forever”.

“I don’t wanna be in a team with them anymore”, says with a hint of sadness in his voice, “Let’s do a group just the three of us, what do you think?” he proposes to them.

The oldest and the youngest share a look and then sigh, “I don’t think that’s the solution...”

“Why not? The three of us would be great, you two can sing and I can rap, even sing a little too. I have been told that I have a good voice”, assures them.

Seokjin sighs again, “That’s not what I mean. You like them. I know in the deep of your heart you still like them and want to be a team with them”.

“But they don’t like me or us enough to stop fighting so what is the point?” Says frowning his lips.

Before any could respond, the choreographer entered the room and announced the start of practice.

“Ah, but Namjoon and Yoongi aren’t here yet”, mentions Seokjin to the man.

“They aren’t going to be with us today”, simply says and continues with his job.

Their dance practice came and went peacefully. Everything was as peaceful as it can be but there was something missing. Someone was missing. Two someones actually. And Hoseok was so mad because of that. He knew his oldest hyung was right, he did want to be a team with them and practice with them, and rap with them. He was the happiest on those moments. It was then when he realized that he wasn’t mad, he was just really really sad.

After practice, Hoseok decides to go to their studio and try to do something productive. Who knows, maybe something good could be out of these feelings. But when he was by the door, he notices that it wasn’t empty. And an angry voices come out of it. Namjoon and Yoongi were there? And fighting again? Do they missed practice for that? He was about to give them a piece of his mind when something makes him stop. There was something different in the air but he couldn’t think of what. So instead he leans closer to the door to try to listen better. But their studio was soundproof so, slowly he turns around the knob to open the door. They didn’t notice him and kept speaking.

“What the hell does that guy think he is?” Says Namjoon mad, “That we sold ourselves? What the hell?”

“I know Namjoon-ah”, answers Yoongi with a tired voice, “I was there too”.

“Then why aren’t you mad?”

“I’m mad”, assures him, “but that won’t help anyone, you should know that”.

“But...”, he sounds frustrated, “I don’t know what to do hyung. What I’m supposes to do to prove them wrong?”

“First of all, you don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Do you love hip hop?”

“Of course I do”, answers almost mad at the question.

“Then that should be enough. What other think shouldn’t matter to you. I don’t give a shit about what they think about me or my music, they can go fuck themselves for all I care”.

Namjoon snorts, “Then why are you mad?”

“Because those fuckers have been messing with your head and I don’t appreciate that”.

Suddenly, there is a voice behind him, “What are you doing?”

His whole body startles making him lose his balance and fall into the room. Everything went silent for a moment. Namjoon and Yoongi looks him with a surprised expression, and so did Seokjin and Jungkook from the door. Hoseok just sat on the floor not knowing what to do.

“So...”, starts after a minute, “how is everyone?”

Seokjin laughs behind his hand and enter the room followed by Jungkook who closes the door behind him.

“Hoseokie...” starts Namjoon but he just turns around his head and looks at his other members. Both of them look at him, pleading with his eyes to listen to them. And maybe he is weak for puppy eyes, especially the ones who come from a bunny boy. So he turns around to face his fellow rappers, Yoongi sitting on the computer’s chair and Namjoon now squatting by his side. “Hoseok, I... we...”, he seems to have trouble making the words.

“What Namjoon is trying to say”, continues Yoongi, “is that we are very sorry. We haven’t been the best teammate to you, to any of you”, adds looking at all the people in the room. “I’m really sorry that you have to deal with all our arguments and petty fights, and I’m sorry that we ruined your hard work in the dorm. I know that just saying it won’t change anything but I really promise you it won’t happen again. I will do my best for that”, he shares a look with Namjoon, and then the younger rapper looks at him.

“I’m really sorry”, says with an apologetic expression, “I really am, I...”, it is weird to see Namjoon struggling with words knowing the amazing lyricist he is. But after a moment, his friend just shut his mouth and throw himself to hug him. A collective gasp was heard in the room, everyone surprised by the physical affection of Kim “Please respect my personal space” Namjoon. “I’m sorry”, whispers to his ear.

“Who are you and what you did to Namjoon?” Says without knowing what else to say, but Namjoon just hug him harder. “Namjoonie...”, he looks up to Yoongi who just gives him a sad smile. Hoseok could see that he was in distress, something else was bothering him too and he couldn’t see his friend like that so he hugs him back and caresses his back. “It’s okay Namjoonie”.

“I’m really sorry”, says again, hiding his face on the crook of his neck.

“It’s okay, everything is okay now”, says to him and Yoongi, who smile back at him.

They stay like that for a couple of minutes, more for Namjoon than him now. He needed a hug and Hoseok was more than happy to provide one. Or two. Or all he wanted. But he knows that Namjoon won’t appreciate the excessive physical affection for too long. So he starts pushing him softly but his friend wasn’t cooperating.

“You know,” he starts softly, “if you keep hugging me like this I’m gonna take it as a cue to start hugging you all the time”, only a second later Namjoon stop hugging and sit at his side in the floor. Hoseok ruffles his hair, “Are you alright?” He nods, “Really? You sounded mad early”.

Namjoon and Yoongi grunt loudly, “I don’t wanna talk about it”.

“Oh come on, we are a team. Let’s be mad together, give us all the spice details, don’t censor any curse”, says suddenly excited.

“No cursing in front of Jungkook”, Seokjin warns them covering the youngest’s ears, he tries to take the oldest hands off him.

“Come on hyung”, says Yoongi, “he hangs out with Hoseokie all the time, he probably has heard every curse word in the world by now”.

“What the fuck does that even mean?” Starts defending himself, Yoongi raises up one of his eyebrows at him and his mouth formed an O at the realization.

The first one to laugh was Namjoon, then Seokjin, and then everyone was laughing hard. Hoseok frowns his lips for a moment but his members’ laugh was contagious so it took him just a few seconds to join them. It felt great having them back to his side.

—-

“After that, they didn’t really have another big fight”, says Hoseok to the two friends, “Of course they argue sometimes but just resolve it easily so when both of you joined you didn’t experiment that”.

“Do you know why Namjoon was mad that day?” Asks Jimin.

Hoseok shakes his head, “Nope, I never asked. I was just glad that they stop fighting that I never questioned it. Whatever it was, I’m happy that it happened”.

“What the hell are you talking about?”

Once again, the scream that leaves his body could be heard by his neighbors, he is sure. The rest starts laughing loudly at him and his fall of the couch, he could only glare at Namjoon and Yoongi who were standing behind the couch fighting a smile too.

“Since when you are here? Since when are you so quiet?” Accuses him with his finger, “You almost give me a heart attack”.

“Not everyone is as loud as you Hoba”, defends himself.

“Why are you telling those lies to the kids?” Asks Yoongi rounding the couch and sitting on it, Namjoon follows him.

“What lies? Everything I said is true, I was there you know? I know you are all “Me and Namjoon have lived together for 9 years” but I have lived with you the same time you bastards”, says frowning, Yoongi seems entertained by his expression.

“We didn’t fight that much”, says Namjoon half-joking.

Hoseok gasps loudly, “We didn’t fight that much”, repeats in a whisper massaging his temples, “I’m getting a headache again”.

“Do you remember why you were fighting back them?” Asks Taehyung, now on the floor too with Jimin.

Namjoon sighs, “It was my fault”, confess.

“Namjoon-ah”, warns Yoongi softly but he only shakes his head.

“When it was decided that we were going to be an idol group... I wasn’t that happy. I felt a little disappointed we have to change the group once again. I thought that Yoongi hyung would feel the same and even though he wasn’t happy, he just seemed to accept it and I felt betrayal by him, which lead to fight with him all the time”, explains and grimace, probably feeling embarrassed by himself.

“The day you were talking about”, says Yoongi, “was the day we had a reunion for the next auditions for the group and there was a guy and...” they shared a look, “he was an asshole to us, especially to Namjoon. We talk more about it later and fix our problems so yeah after that everything was better”.

Jimin hums, “There isn’t something more purer than bonding over mutual hate of someone”, assures and Taehyung nods.

“I’m glad that you fixed your problems, hyungs”, says Jungkook, still sitting on the couch, both of them smiling at him.

“Talking about the past make me hungry”, says Seokjin suddenly, “Who wants to order food?” The three youngest shouts “me!” almost jumping off their seats, “Alright, let go choose something”.

The oldest stands up and walks to the kitchen again and the three younger singers follow him like little ducklings. The three rappers are left alone in the living room, Hoseok could feel the awkwardness on the air.

After a moment, Yoongi pats the spot beside him on the couch so he could sit there. He doubts for a moment but does as told and sits in between both of his best friends.

“Hoba”, says Yoongi, “I’m sorry to remind you those days”.

“It’s alright hyung”, assures him.

“You really had a hard time because of us back then?” Asks Namjoon and he look deadpanned at him. “I’m sorry”.

“It’s okay, really”, insists, “just... don’t do it again, okay?”

“Alright alright, we won’t do it again”, says Yoongi, “as long Namjoon accepts that Inception is a great movie”.

Namjoon grunts loudly, “It isn’t hyung! Why can’t you accept it?”

“I’m not taking opinions from someone that like Me Before You”, he crosses his arms over his chest.

“What is wrong with that?” Asks mad.

“Guys, I swear if you continue with that... I’m just saying that Bangtan will be a five-member group, okay?” Warns them.

Both of them stay silent for a moment and then say in unison, “Sorry”.

Hoseok smiles satisfied, “That’s what I thought”.
