    AU in which Kongpob gets stood up by a blind date. Arthit is the waiter at the restaurant and offers him free cake out of sympathy. Over time, Kongpob gets stood up by so many dates that Arthit is beginning to think that Kongpob is just making things up so he can get free cake.

    make this dark by making arthit a psychological killer who is obsessed with kongpob. the reason why kongpob keeps on getting stood up is because arthit is killing them a few hours before the date.

    make this more complicated. Kongpob is a forensic scientist and already knows that Arthit is the killer but since he liked him, he tries his best to cover up any evidence but ends up becoming the prime suspect.
    How far would they go to save each other?

    "You lost them?" Shane's voice came out somewhere between bewildered and almost in awe, as if he could not imagine how deeply insane the bomb Barrett just dropped on them was.

    Troy, almost immediately, passed the buck with arms raised like he was facing a firing squad.

    "No." His reply was emphatic, and it hung in the air a moment before he lowered one hand to point at Dillon. "He did."

    Behind him, Shane could hear Ilya say something in Russian that would have had his mother reaching for the soap dish.

    “I did not!” Dillon protested before turning back to address the group at large. “I swear, I didn’t.”

    “But nobody knows where they are, currently.” Shane pressed, and the guilty look on the collective group in the hallway had his blood running cold and Ilya launching into further expletives.

    At the end of a road trip out West, the Rookies of the Centaurs go missing.

    Hijinx and Shenanigans ensue.

    “Too fast,” Ilya says. “My English… not good.”

    “Sorry,” Shane mumbles into Ilya’s hand. Ilya grins and shakes his head, curls dancing, as he pulls his hand away.

    “Is okay. Slow words. Okay?”

    This year marks thirteen year Shane Hollander's third summer at Coach Marakov's elite hockey training camp. In attendance for the first time: Ilya Rozanov, visiting from Russia. Shane isn't the most sociable, and Ilya's English isn't the greatest, yet the unlikely duo soon become the best of friends.

    It's just one summer, but it makes a world of difference.
