“Robin Hood?” he hears a voice tentatively call out.
Goro startles, and his eyes widen when he sees who it is.
It’s a boy around his age. He has messy black hair and a worried expression on his face similar to Goro’s, though he quickly puts on a wobbly grin as he approaches hesitantly. The sweatshirt that he’s wearing is a little too big on him and his jeans look worn out.
He looks exactly like a small version of Joker.

i didn't expect to enjoy this as much as i have. to be honest, the concept of a baby goro, baby akira, older akechi and older akira in one space for extended periods of time with Maybe Too Much Child Death is a bit absurd but i love how joker and crow's relationship got to evolve a little (or maybe i should say ... A Lot . HEJGAJGD) and baby goro and akira playing and getting along so well is a little heartbreaking. perhaps in another reality, one that's kinder, none of what happened did, and akira and akechi both got to grow up together.
this fic's less plot, more character interactions but that's kinda what makes it special yknow? i think author has a nice grasp on their characters. and i've already mentioned how pleased i was with the baby akira fic. the exploration of akechi's character was way too good. -
