Work Text:
Jimin slammed the door behind him, kicking his shoes off and causing them to fly across the floor. He stalked into the kitchen with hands clenched into tiny fists and yanked the fridge door open, angrily scanning the shelves before finding what he wanted, yanking it out and stomping off to the lounge.
He pulled his phone from his back pocket and threw it on the sofa before sinking down into the cushions beside it. In the confines of his oversized jumper his wings twitched sulkily but he ignored them.
Ripping the lid off his caramel pudding, he sunk a spoon in and took a heaping mouthful. Drowning his feelings in the creamy deliciousness.
His phone pinged beside him on the couch and he glanced at it to see a notification from tindr, “You’ve matched with someone!”
He rolled his eyes and swiped at the notification so that it would disappear, locking his screen again.
He may as well delete the app at this point.
That evening he’d been on a tinder date which had seemed to very promising as he’d talked with the guy in the two weeks leading up to their meeting. The guy worked in marketing and was half vampire. They’d messaged back and forth, talking about their interests and things they did outside work for fun. He’d been very interested in him being a fairy, but they always were, and he hadn’t seemed skeezy about it.
Oh boy was Jimin wrong.
His orientation was clearly stated on his bio but that didn't seem to stop guys from trying it with him.
Jimin / Moon fairy/ Ace
Tonight he’d been looking forward to seeing the movie they were going to watch. Dinner had been nice and he was feeling good about the night. But nearly as soon as the lights had gone down, the guy’s hand began roaming.
Jimin had pointedly picked up the hand and placed it back in the guys own lap and resolved to delete him from his messages later. He’d at least enjoy the movie.
But the hand returned.
Jimin had turned to stare the guy down and he’d had the gall to whisper, “What baby? I’ll make it good for you”.
He’d promptly slapped the creep and stalked out of the cinema.
People were always making assumptions about him because he was a fairy. In their minds, he therefore must be some perpetually horny creature. A sex-crazed fiend looking for a leg to hump. He hated it, not only because he was asexual but because it was a racial stereotype.
Fairy society was freer with sex than most other magical and human societies, that much was true. There were less taboos around sex. Fairies viewed sex as a pleasurable thing that should be indulged in without restriction. They generally didn’t care for such limitations as monogamy because sex wasn’t intrinsically linked to romance. They didn’t bother with keeping things behind closed doors because sex was a beautiful thing, to be shared.
They considered the human views on sex to be oppressive and its for this reason that fairies largely stuck to their own territories. Not many lived in the mundane world.
However, all of that didn’t mean that fairies were somehow less civilised or were one-track minded. It also didn’t mean that all fairies were the same. Just like how all vampires don’t prey on the innocent, or how all demons didn’t trick people into selling their souls.
It was just a stereotype that Jimin had to live with, day in and day out. To the extent that he actually hid his wings most of the time, and wore contacts to hide his characteristic purple irises.
He’d spent a lot of time in his youth feeling like he was weird or broken, but now he’d come to accept that there was nothing wrong with him. He knew his worth, and if he couldn’t find a partner who could see that outside of sex then he didn’t need one.
He finished his pudding and headed to the bathroom to have a de-stressing shower before bed, leaving his phone where it was on the couch.
The next morning when he finally dragged himself out of bed, he found Jungkook sitting on his couch, eating a bag of cheetos, socked feet on the coffee table as he flicked through his phone.
No, not Jungkook’s. Jimin’s.
“Hey brat!” cried Jimin, stomping over and snatching the device from his friend’s hands.
The boy simply giggled at him, exposing his cute bunny teeth that Jimin was oh so weak for. He sighed, “Are there any snacks left in the house?” he asked, eyeing the empty bag of pretzels next to Jungkook.
“Nope” replied the hybrid, “And you’re out of milk”.
On days like this, Jimin had to remind himself exactly why he’d given Jungkook a spare key to begin with.
Jimin had met Jungkook back in his last year of college at a pride week event for aspec people and they’d clicked almost immediately. Both had sat near the back, making quiet comments and making eachother giggle like crazy.
They’d swapped numbers and been friends ever since.
When Jimin finished his degree, got his first adult job and moved off campus into his own place he’d worried about Jungkook at the dorms. Being an aro-ace bunny hybrid, Jungkook suffered in much the same way as Jimin did with people making shitty assumptions about his sex life.
The first week he’d moved in, Jimin had got the key cut and pressed it into his friend’s hand, “If things on campus get too much for whatever reason, you come over. No biggie okay?”
Jungkook had given him that blinding bunny smile and then poked him in the side, calling him a big softie, swiftly followed by a jab about his height.
So… Jungkook was a brat but Jimin loved him like a brother.
“At least take your feet off the table” sighed Jimin, sitting down and resting his head on the other’s broad shoulder.
“Bad date?”
“Yep”
“Probably a bad time to tell you I impersonated you on tinder and arranged a date for Tuesday?”
“The worst”
“Right”
They sat stock still, side by side in perfect silence for a moment, before Jimin grabbed the cushion beside him and hit Jungkook over the head with it.
“What the fuck Kookie!”
Jungkook giggled as he was attacked again and again with the plush weapon, “Hyung! Stop!” he cried between gasps of laughter.
“Give me one reason, Jeon Jungkook!”
Doof.
Doof.
“I know this guy!” said Jungkook, hands raised in front of his face.
Jimin faltered for a moment.
Doof .
“Tell me more”
Min Yoongi was apparently a music producer who Jungkook had met through his cousin, Seokjin, who was a popular idol.
When the brat saw his name in the app on Jimin’s phone he couldn’t help himself but play matchmaker. He had it on good authority that Yoongi was a good guy. Seokjin was picky with who he worked with because there were a lot of creeps in the industry and he was big enough to be choosey.
The guy was a werewolf in a pack with strong familial energy. His worst trait that Seokjin could say was that he was a workaholic. That wasn’t exactly a sin.
Jimin had promised a wide-eyed Jungkook, looking more like a puppy hybrid than a bunny one, that he’d at least go on the date. But he made no promises about it going anywhere.
“I wouldn’t expect you to Hyung” Jungkook had beamed, and then they’d spent the rest of the afternoon cuddled up together on the couch playing video games.
Yoongi arrived at the restaurant early, hands sweaty and proverbial butterflies flying around in his tummy. Sitting down at the reserved table he went over what Hobi had told him earlier when he was pacing around the pack house contemplating messaging to cancel the date.
He was a good wolf.
He was smart and interesting.
He was respectful.
He was funny.
He was a loyal friend.
He was handsome.
He had so much to give to a relationship.
He would be okay.
Dating wasn’t his strong point. In fact, he usually avoided blind dating like this with every effort, but at the pack meet last week a pang of loneliness had hit him as he watched couples frolicking and scenting in the daisy field they’d stopped for lunch.
Later that evening, he’d found himself scrolling through Tindr and anxiously swiping right on a few interesting profiles.
The most eye-catching of all had been a stunning blonde fairy by the name of Park Jimin, not because he was drop-dead, honest to goodness otherworldly, gorgeous or because in his photos he wore huge sweaters that made him look like a tiny kitten trying and failing to escape a very large blanket, but because of the three letters he had at the end of his bio.
Ace.
He knew the term.
He’d seen it over and over again when he’d searched the web looking for explanations on why he felt uncomfortable participating in some of the activities expected of a pack.
Why he always broke off burgeoning relationships when they started to get too physical.
Why he’d take issue more than his pack brother, Namjoon, did when the media depicted alphas like them as mindless knotheads that would mount anything that moves.
He hadn’t exactly adopted it as his own identity, but he was definitely considering it and it’s implications.
So as he sat at the table, eyeing the complimentary bread that already sat there and trying not to stuff it in his mouth to distract himself from his nerves, he pondered a date where there were no sexual expectations would be like.
When his date arrived, he stood up from the table, nervously clutching the tablecloth as he dipped his head in what he hoped was a welcoming smile and nod.
Jimin smiled back at him, bright and sweet, and it made his heart pound harder in his chest.
“Hi” greeted the fairy, “Sorry I’m late”
“No no, I’m just always absurdly early” replied Yoongi.
They stood on either side of the table looking at one another.
“Shall we sit?” said Jimin, seeming amused.
“Ah, yes! Please!” said Yoongi, gesturing to Jimin’s seat, and the fairy sat down with a tinkling giggle.
Yoongi might’ve usually felt embarrassed if his date was laughing at him being awkward within moments of them meeting, but something about Jimin made it clear it was fond.
As they perused the menu, he told Jimin that this was one of his favourite places to take people because the food was amazing.
“Go on lots of dates then?” Asked Jimin, a teasing twinkle in his eye.
Yoongi flushed brightly. That was a rookie error.
“Only a bit” he mumbled, biting his lip nervously.
“Sorry Yoongi-ssi, I’m only teasing you” said Jimin with eyes crinkled up into little crescent moons, “Full disclosure I’ve been on a fair few myself”.
This interested Yoongi. Surely if someone had the honour of going on a date with this beautiful man they’d make sure to keep it that way.
He wanted to ask about it, but wasn’t sure if that was overstepping. Thankfully Jimin seemed to read his mind.
“People don’t seem to understand what being ace means. Lots of jerks trying for a piece of fairy ass”
The word ass seems misplaced coming out of Jimin’s sweet mouth, but it makes a delightful juxtaposition. He wrinkled his brow at the information though, “People can be terrible, sorry you had to deal with that”.
“It’s whatever” said Jimin with a shrug, “I was just going to delete tinder but then we matched. Figured i’d give this dating thing one last try before accepting my life as a crazy cat man”.
That made Yoongi choke on a laugh and Jimin seemed pleased.
“And you? Your myriad of dates haven’t worked out so far?” he asked, before leaning forward like he was about to tell a secret, “Yoongi-ssi, maybe the food here isn’t as good as you think” he faux whispers.
Yoongi grinned. Despite the topic of conversation, talking with Jimin was fun.
“Hyung” corrected Yoongi.
“Okay, Hyung” said Jimin with another gorgeous smile that had Yoongi’s heart stuttering. He could look at the fairy’s happy little face all day.
“It's usually more me than anyone else,” said Yoongi, hoping that wouldn’t put Jimin off.
The fairy raised a brow a perfectly manicured, hinting for Yoongi to explain.
“I usually pull back before anything can get very… physical,” he says carefully.
Understanding registered on Jimin’s face, “Are you…?”
“Maybe” replied Yoongi, “Demi perhaps. I’m not sure really”.
Jimin nodded thoughtfully, “Well, no worries with me” he said, “You’ll have plenty of space”.
The waiter soon came over and they ordered. They got to know each other better while waiting, Yoongi laughing through Jimin’s admittance about how the date came to be arranged.
It was the most comfortable he’d felt on a date in a very long time, probably partly because he knew there were no awkward circumstances awaiting him at the end of the date surrounding kisses, or worse, beds. But also, Jimin was just an incredibly warm person. He was easy to talk to.
They ate their food, and even got a serving of apple pie to share for dessert.
Once they’d scooped up the lasts of the sweet treat, they gathered their things and got up to pay.
It was a pleasantly balmy night, and as they walked aimlessly, side by side down the street, Yoongi couldn’t help but think it was the perfect evening for a cool beer. And he really didn’t want to have to say goodbye to Jimin just yet.
“Jimin,” he said, breaking through the quiet, “I have some Sakura beer at home, if you wanted to-”
“Sounds perfect!” beamed Jimin, a skip in his step that made Yoongi think the boy was just as happy as him for the date to continue.
They caught the bus back to Yoongi’s place together and Yoongi apologised at the door about the mess, “I didn’t think I’d be having company”.
“It’s fine,” said Jimin, shaking his head dismissively, “I bet it’s tidier than mine where JK roams free”.
Yoongi smiled fondly. He’d only met the bunny hybrid a handful of times, and mostly in passing in the studio when the kid was visiting his cousin. He definitely seemed like the type to make himself at home.
They shucked their shoes off at the door and then he led Jimin to his studio. He loved his pack brothers but he didn’t really want them interrupting his date when they got home, “Take a seat on the couch, I’ll grab the beer” he said.
When in the kitchen he checked his reflection in the microwave. He still looked okay despite the heat of the night.
He pulled some nice glasses down from the cupboard so that Jimin could admire the pretty pink colour the beer was, instead of drinking from the can. He was just grabbing the beer from the fridge when he heard keys in the door and Hoseok’s characteristic giggle.
He thought he had longer until he and Namjoon were back from their date, the pair always went for long walks along the Han river at this time of year. Taehyung was home in Daegu for the weekend and he’d expected to have the house to themselves for at least an hour more.
A moment later they two were walking into the kitchen.
“Oh Hyung!” said Hoseok loudly, “You’re home! How’d it go?”
He was tipsy and therefore 20 decibels louder than usual as he stepped forward to scent his Hyung.
Letting Hoseok rub his sweet jasmine scent on him, he saw Namjoon clock the two glasses on the kitchen side, “Ah, still going then?” said the other alpha.
Hoseok pulled back swiftly to look at his mate, “What!?” he squawked.
Yoongi wanted to roll his eyes, but his Hoseokie had been so good to him earlier he refrained, “Yes, Jimin is in my studio. We’re going to have a beer and watch something” he said as plain faced as possible. The last thing he wanted was Hobi making a big deal and scaring Jimin off.
Namjoon thankfully took Hoseok’s arm and led him to their bedroom, wishing Yoongi a good night. The omega looked slightly disgruntled at being pulled away from the excitement, but ultimately let himself be led.
When he made it back to his studio, Jimin was standing by the desk peering at a framed picture of the pack Yoongi kept by the speakers.
“Is this your pack?” he asked, when he heard Yoongi enter the room.
Yoongi placed the glasses down on twin coasters on his desk, “Yeah” he replied, “We’re small but close”.
Jimin nodded smilingly, “I heard them come back”
Yoongi’s hand flew instinctively to his neck to rub at it, “Hobi is a bit excitable” he said.
“It’s nice” said Jimin, turning from the picture and looking at the beer, “Oh it’s so pretty! I need to take a picture!”
Pulling his phone from his pocket, the fairy squatted down to get some nice shots that showed Yoongi’s equipment in the background.
So Jimin was one of those types. He usually rolled his eyes when he saw pictures of food or drink on his feed, but with Jimin it was cute. Everything the fairy did was cute.
“Okay, we can actually drink it now,” laughed Jimin, when he was happy with the photos he’d taken.
They settled on the couch, touching their glasses and taking tandem sips while Yoongi reached for his mouse with his free hand and pulled Youtube up on the large flat screen he had mounted on the wall above his desk.
Jimin made a sound of enjoyment after his sip and Yoongi had to agree. The taste was just subtle enough to not be overwhelming. A touch of spring in the otherwise already refreshing beer.
“Music?” he asked, bringing up the search bar and looking at Jimin for his request.
“How about something or yours?”
Yoongi’s stomach dropped. He hadn’t expected that. He was proud of his work, knew he was good at what he did, but he didn’t like the idea of showing Jimin right now. If he thought Jimin didn’t like it for some reason it would dampen his mood.
“Hmmm, next time” he said, not even thinking about the fact that he hadn’t asked Jimin if they’d meet again yet. It seemed obvious they would.
“Okay” Jimin agreed easily, making Yoongi’s heart soar, “Well, how about a movie or something then? I was meant to see a great historical drama last week but that date didn’t go as well as this one, so I left early”.
Yoongi pouted at the idea of Jimin having such a bad time he had to walk out. He silently vowed to make sure that would never happen again.
“I know a good one on Netflix actually, if you haven't seen it already” he said, rapidly changing apps.
He pulled up the movie and Jimin happily announced it was one he’d been meaning to watch.
They watched for half an hour before there was a knock on the studio door. Yoongi paused the movie and eyed the door suspiciously.
“You gonna get that?” asked Jimin.
Yoongi sighed loudly, “I suppose I should”.
When he unlocked the door, Hoseok was standing there beaming, with a tray with two more beers and a small bowl of pretzels, “Thought you might like more refreshments?” he trilled.
Namjoon appeared at the end of the hallway, looking ragged, “Sorry Hyung, he locked me in the ensuite! I had to climb through the window!”.
There was a loud burst of laughter from behind them and then Jimin was approaching. Up this close Yoongi got a nice concentrated whiff of his calming lavender scent that had filled the room.
“Hi, I’m Jimin” he said merrily, reaching around Yoongi to take the tray, “This was very kind of you”.
Hoseok grinned like a madman and Namjoon face palmed, “Please don’t encourage him”.
“Hoseokie” Yoongi said carefully, “Jimin and I are going to finish this movie. You’ll meet him another time okay?”
Hoseok, who was on tip toe watching Jimin take the tray back to the desk fell back on his heels and pouted, “But Hyung”.
“Hobi” Yoongi warned. His friend was a sweet love but there were limits even for him, as whipped as he was for the sunshiney omega.
Namjoon approached and took Hoseok’s hand again, scenting him as he murmured for him to go back to their bedroom.
When Yoongi closed the door and he and Jimin were finally alone again, the fairy burst into uncontrollable laughter.
Well at least he found it amusing, thought Yoongi as he too laughed at the absurdity of the situation.
“He… locked his mate… in the bathroom?” Jimin squeaked as he laughed.
“Yeah” chuckled Yoongi, rubbing at the back of his neck, “I guess I don’t bring many people home, despite my myriad of dates” he said, repeating Jimin’s wording from earlier.
Jimin stopped laughing, and just sat looking at Yoongi looking delightfully happy, “This is really nice, Hyung” he said eventually.
Yoongi nodded with a blush, grabbed the tray and brought it over to the couch. As they finished the movie with their drinks and snacks, Yoongi found Jimin migrating closer and closer to him on the sofa.
Eventually the fairy was so close, if he wanted he could put his head in Yoongi’s lap. He looked up at the werewolf with soft eyes, “Is this okay?” he said, gesturing between his head and Yoongi’s legs.
Oh, so he did intend to.
“No pressure, you just look comfy but I can grab that cushion if you’d rather not” Jimin said, now pointing at the big yellow pillow, shaped like a puppy with his tongue out, on the office chair that Yoongi used when he was producing.
“No, it’s fine. Nice actually. You… you smell nice” he replied, hoping that Jimin wouldn’t find that odd. It was such a normal thing for werewolves to pick up on, but for fairies it probably wasn’t.
“I do?” Jimin said happily as he scooched that last little bit closer to rest his head on Yoongi’s thighs. Yoongi’s hand automatically went to Jimin’s hair and the fairy pushed up into it contently as he raked through his hair.
“Like lavender” confirmed Yoongi, “s’relaxing”
Yoongi smelt Jimin’s scent go that little bit sweeter, telling him the fairy was happy and he felt satisfied. He continued playing with the blonde tresses as the hero on the screen nearly died and honourable death on his sword, only to be brought back from the brink of death by the love interest.
It was a little cliche, but still fun. Jimin reacted so well too, making little noises of sadness and triumph in all the right places. It made the movie that much more enjoyable for Yoongi.
When the credits were finally rolling it was quite late.
Jimin reluctantly sat up from Yoongi’s lap. He’d enjoyed watching the movie cuddled up to the sweet wolf and was so comfy he could’ve drifted off to sleep right there.
He let out an involuntary groan as he sat up. The only down side of the position was that his wings were still confined in his jumper and were aching to be free.
“You ok?” asked Yoongi, stretching his own arms above his head and letting out an adorable yawn.
“Mhm” said Jimin, rubbing at the join of his wings to his back through his clothes, “Just my wings have been restricted all night they’re complaining”.
Yoongi’s eyes widened comically, “I feel stupid but I hadn’t even considered that” he said.
Jimin smilingly shook his head, “I hide them on purpose” he said, “People get weird about fairies sometimes…”
He saw Yoongi’s face fall into the little disgruntled frown it did whenever Jimin mentioned past dates or people in general being shitty to him. It was sweet that he cared so much. Everything about the werewolf was sweet actually.
It had been a long time since Jimin had been so immediately comfortable with someone.
“Anyway, I better head off. I’m sure you’re tired” said Jimin, looking at Yoongi with the hopes he could read what he really wanted to say.
/ask me to stay/
/ask me to stay/
/ask me to stay/
“Jimin” said Yoongi.
He looked nervous again, like he was at the beginning of the date. That wouldn’t do.
Jimin closed the small distance between them, looping his arms around the werewolf’s middle and breathing in the warmth of his chest, “Hyung?” he said into Yoongi’s shirt.
Yoongi’s shoulders relaxed and his arms mimicked Jimin’s, settling just under the fairy’s wings.
“You can stay if you want?” he suggested, “On the couch… or my bed is a double. Just sleeping obviously. No funny business from me”.
Jimin giggled into Yoongi’s chest. The guy was more adorable than he knew.
“Can we cuddle though?” Jimin asked, leaning back with his arms still looped around Yoongi's;s middle so he could give him his best puppy dog eyes.
Yoongi grinned a little lopsidedly and Jimin felt so warm.
“Of course, if that's what you want”.
It was exactly what Jimin wanted.
Yoongi gave Jimin sweatpants and his oldest, baggiest t-shirt to change into.
When Jimin came out of the bathroom holding the t-shirt to his chest, Yoongi looked anxious as he stood from the edge of the bed, "is it dirty? I'm sorry I thought-"
Jimin shook his head, interrupting his date, "No Hyung it's perfect, I just… thought maybe you might want to see my wings before I put it on?"
His heart thudded in his chest. It had been a while since he'd shown them to anyone except Jungkookie.
But despite only meeting him today, he knew that Yoongi wasn't going to be weird about it. In fact, he wanted him to see them. Wanted him to think Jimin was pretty.
That was something that Allo people often seemed to not understand.
Especially back before he started hiding his wings he had various people, fairies and otherwise, ask him why he put effort into making himself look pretty if he didn't want to attract people. Make-up, nice clothes, how he held himself, apparently that was all meant to be for sex.
There were so many things he could say to that, but he'd just shrug it off. If they didn't get it, why did he have to be the one to explain it to them?
But besides the fact that it was more than possible to want to look nice for himself, being thought of as good looking by other's was completely disconnected from sexuality in his mind.
Or it had been until people had jaded him.
But here in the safety of Yoongi's room, he was once more just a boy who wanted his crush to see him and think he was beautiful.
"Ok" said Yoongi in a hushed voice, like Jimin was offering him something sacred.
In a way he was, his vulnerability and trust.
Jimin smiled shyly, letting his wings unfold and flutter so that he hovered just above the ground. He turned in the air so that Yoongi could see, arms still crossed over the shirt so that it covered his chest.
"Wow" he heard Yoongi breathe and he sounded so reverent that Jimin couldn't help but beam at the wall.
Hi looked over his shoulder and saw Yoongi looking at him as if he were something rare and precious. It almost made him want to cry.
"You like them?" He asked.
"You're gorgeous" whispered Yoongi, eyes taking in every inch of the curved, golden wings.
Jimin flushed happily, doing a twirl in the air and then landed in front of Yoongi who looked like he was in a daze.
"You're not so bad yourself" Jimin quipped.
It was the understatement of the year but even so it made Yoongi blush.
Jimin returned to the bathroom to put the shirt on. Although he trusted Yoongi, they weren't quite in the stage of their relationship that they'd sleep together in states of undress.
When he returned once more, Yoongi was sitting against the headboard typing on his phone.
"Lights off?" Jimin asked, padding over to the switch by the door. Yoongi had a lamp on by the bed.
"Yep" replied Yoongi.
Jimin flicked the switch and then made his way over to the mattress, climbing up the side that Yoongi wasn't sitting on and settling under the covers.
"I probably smell all like you now" he said, glancing beside him at the werewolf.
Yoongi looked caught out, eyes darting down to his lap as he flushed.
"I dooooo, don't I?" Jimin teased, "do you like that Hyung?" He asked with a giggle.
"My wolf does" admitted Yoongi, "It feels right".
Jimin nodded understandingly, "It makes sense. Wolves scent their mates and pack members right? Of course you're going to like your crush smelling like you".
Yoongi's eyes widened at the use of the word crush and Jimin wanted to reach out and boop his nose it was so cute.
"Am I being presumptuous?" He asked lightly, "Since I'm crushing on you, I just assumed-"
"No, you're right" Yoongi interrupted, "Big time crushing on Jimin is happening in Yoongi land".
Jimin giggled again. Yoongi was adorable and funny in his awkwardness, "Good" he said.
Yoongi leant over and turned the bedside lamp off and they were enveloped in darkness.
“Do you want to be big spoon or little spoon?” asked Jimin into the shadows.
“Big” said Yoongi immediately.
“Okay” said Jimin, shifting so he was laying down, wings wrapping forward around his arm so Yoongi could be close, and waiting while he felt Yoongi shift too. There was a moment of hesitation and then Yoongi was pulling him against his chest and letting out a rumbling noise.
“Sorry” he said, and he seemed to be holding his head back from Jimin’s neck even though the rest of him was flush against the fairy.
“You don’t have to apologise for your wolf behaviours, Hyung” said Jimin.
He felt Yoongi rumble again but he didn’t move closer.
“That includes scenting…”
As soon as he’d said the word, Yoongi’s nose was down on his neck. He rubbed it back and forth over the lean muscles there, making the same rumbling noise as before. Jimin thought it probably meant that he was content.
It tickled a little bit but once he got used to it, it sent pleasing shivers down his spine. He didn’t usually let people get this close, because he didn’t trust that they’d know that these intimacies weren’t mere steps preceeding sex. But knowing that Yoongi was simply enjoying the act of scenting him without any ulterior motive or other end goal in sight, made him able to enjoy the feeling.
Not today, but it might even be possible that Jimin would enjoy Yoongi’s lips pressed to his neck as well.
He felt so ridiculously relaxed in a situation he’d usually never let himself get into, that he wondered if perhaps him and Yoongi had a connection, something instinctual, drawing them together and telling them this was right.
Yoongi huffed happily and then pulled back.
“Sleepy” he said, sounding scent drunk.
Jimin sighed in bliss. Feeling like he was floating on cloud nine, he pressed back into Yoongi’s arms and let himself drift off to sleep too.
Not before making a mental note to thank Jungkook after all.
