Summary
Gao Tu has been in love with Shen Wenlang for ten years.
Tu has been content to be by Wenlang's side, not expecting anything, because Wenlang hates Omegas. And no matter how many suppressants he took, Tu couldn't erase the fact that he too, was one.
Then comes Hua Yong, an Omega with an orchid scent, and Wenlang immediately takes an interest in him.
After a few days, Tu coughs out his first petal.

"Gao Tu", he says, voice thick with worry, tone stern. He takes him by the shoulders and turns him around so his friend is facing him, ignoring his struggles, for once using the fact that he's an Alpha and Gao Tu is just a Beta against him. "What is wrong? I can see something is desperately wrong. Talk to me."
"I can't", Gao Tu replies, shaking all over. Besides the sage, there's the rotten stench of fear in the air. Wenlang needs a second to realise that it's coming from Gao Tu.
It doesn't make sense.
