Chapter 1: ‼️NOTICE‼️
Chapter Text
Hey! This is Dreamer! I’d like to get any of my complaints out in a Chapter so you can ignore the Notes afterwards if you do not want it to interrupt the storyline!
- I will upload this fanfiction whenever I choose due to this being a side fic. My main fic is currently “Why We Should(n’t) Work Together!”
- I would enjoy nobody stealing my work! You are allowed to contact me and ask to remix my work, to translate my work, or to make a work inspired by my work.
- I am only in 8th Grade, so my grammar may be bad. Also, I don’t reread my work.....so it is whatever I’ve written the first time!
- I enjoy constructive criticism, but the moment you are mean, your comment(s) will be erased.
EXPLAINING MY STORY:
I kind of only watch the anime.....so I don’t know if there will be manga spoilers or not.....sorry?!
Thank you for choosing my fanfiction! Have a nice day!
Hope you enjoy,
-Dreamer

Chapter Text
After a year, Midoriya Izuku, now 5 years old, is heading to the doctor again. He can’t be quirkless. He just can’t be. He knows he isn’t. He doesn’t know how to describe it. He just knows he isn’t quirkles.
He squeezes his mother’s hand harder as they approach the white walls that seem to be looming over Midoriya. The blandness taunting him for being abnormal. The white walls void of any color. Only he and his mother’s green hair stands out among the white walls, white desks, and white coats.
Midoriya shuts his eyes as he follows his mother to the front desk. He can hear her talking to the desk lady, but he is too nervous to bother. Eventually, Midoriya is led to a room towards the back of the establishment. He’s been here before. He’s seen this door. This door that changed his life for the worse not but a year ago.
This door lost him his only friend, Kacchan.
This door ostracized him to his classmates.
This door cost him to hide boo-boos from his mother.
It was all because of this door. The door creaked open as Inko led Izuku inside. Izuku mindlessly jumped into the chair, waiting for Dr. Tsubasa to enter the room.
Inko was rubbing comforting circles on Izuku’s back, trying to distract him from the terrors of his own mind. Eventually, Dr. Tsubasa entered and began to get the x-ray machine out again.
Izuku slides under the radiation protection, letting his legs hand out from the cover. Dr. Tsubasa starts up the machine and tells him to stay very still. He does.
About 2 minutes later, Dr. Tsubasa comes back out with an x-ray. On the x-ray, a toe joint is visible. Dr. Tsubasa apologizes for the cards Izuku was delt and bade them farewell. On the way home, they stop for icecream.
The cold treat did nothing for Izuku right now.
He trudged his feet as he approached his home. Katsudon didn’t even sound appealing right now. He just wanted to sleep and forget the nagging feeling that the doctor was wrong. He knew he had a quirk. He just knew it.
He closed his eyes and hoped he wasn’t going insane.
~Morning~
Midoriya opened his eyes as sunlight filtered through his All Might themed curtains. He rubbed his eyes and sat up slowly. Smiling, he got out of bed and got dressed. Before he reached the door, he remembered what happened the day prior and his smile disappeared.
Midoriya made his way downstairs in a haze, not paying attention during breakfast or when his mother talked to him. He was on autopilot all the way to school where he was snapped out of his haze by an explosion ringing his ears and heat searing his skin.
“Oi, Deku!”
Midoriya turned around to come face to face with Bakugo’s popping hand.
“Why’d you go to the doctor yesterday and miss school, Deku? You think they would tell you you're not useless and quirkless after a year? Huh, Deku?” Bakugo’s hands began to turn bright as his pops got louder and the heat got hotter.
Midoriya bowed his head in submission as he made his way to the school, back inching against the brick wall, blood trickling from under his uniform from how hard he tried to make himself seem small. After what felt like an eternity, he made it to the school entrance. He skurried inside and made his way to his elementary classroom.
When he got inside, he found his cubby had marker drawn all over it. Words in poor kanji were written all over his locker in reds and oranges and purples. He could read a few of the more legible ones, but he wished he hadn’t. Words like ‘stoopid quakless freek’ and ‘dumummy dekoo’ were scribbles all across his cubby.
He sighed. He made his way to the front of the classroom.
“Uhm, Sakiyonu-Senssei(Made up...)?”
Sakiyonu-Sensei put her book down and looked at Midoriya, her cheerful expression all of the sudden seeming strained.
“Oh, yes Midoriya?”
Midoriya played with the hem of his shirt. “We-well I was wondering if I could borrow some cleaning supplies?” He paused. “People drew on my cubby.”
Sakiyonu-Sensei’s eyes crinkled as her fake smile dawned on her face. She got up and gave Midoriya the supplies. When Midoriya was close enough and out of earshot of the others, she bent down and whispered in his ear.
“I don’t want some quirkless freak to ruin your quirked classmates' records by framing them for your way of getting attention. Do you understand, Midoriya?”
His eyes brimmed with tears, but he nodded. I didn’t do it. Why does she always think I did it? It’s not fair.
She smiled sweetly and walked away giving a short ‘run along now, Midoriya!’ before heading back to her desk and opening her book once more.
Izuku did not have a good school day that day.

RECENT CHAPTER SPOILERS FROM HERE TILL THE END OF THE CHAPTER!!! Spoilers on All For One’s “Doctor Ujiko” and Dr. Tsubasa.
A bald man with odd glasses and a mustache is in a dark room. The only thing in the room other than the man is a small computer. On the computer, ‘audio only’ is seen in neon green.
The man stands up and heads over to the screen before speaking.
“Sir,”
A distorted voice rings through the screen.
“Yes?”
The man in the room looks up and smiles.
“I’ve found a fine specimen you may like to know about.”
The voice sounded the same, but the man knew he was intrigued.
“Oh, do tell me.”
“I’ve found a child with a quirk factor that has yet to show. He is already 5 and a half and no signs of his quirk have appeared. This means he has an extremely powerful quirk that needs an older body to be able to access. He goes to my clinic, and I’ve already shown him the fake x-rays.”
The voice on the other side of screen is silent, pondering what should happen next.
“Keep tabs on the child. He may be of use to us. But, know this, Doctor. He is but a side project. Our more pressing matter are the Nomu and young Tenko.”
“Yes, Sir,”
“Good. I must go now. Preparations for my fated battle must happen once again. I expect my recuperation chambers to be ready should anything go awry?”
The man smirked before bowing. He knows the person on the other side can see him even if the man can’t see the person on the other side.
“Yes, Sir,”
The screen turned off and Dr. “Ujiko” Tsubasa began to prepare for the following years.
Notes:
This is proven in the recent chapters that “Doctor” and Dr. Tsubasa are the same people! Please don’t come and murder me!
Also if you are confused, Daruma Ujiko’s real name is Kyudai Garaki. Ujiko is a pseudonym.
Hope that explained things! Hope you enjoyed!
