   Summary

   The Clone Wars are raging. Vad Alnam is a CSF detective whose promotion depends on strong-arming someone digging up Padmé Amidala's dirty laundry. Krev Devin is a small-time mercenary hired to track down an escapee who knows too much about the workings of the Grand Army of the Republic. Both are little more than pawns in the grandest conspiracy the galaxy has ever seen. Neither is a hero.
