Keigo came home from work late and came to find his home freezing cold. Winter was not going easy on them this year it seems. Izuku texted the day before saying that their heater had stopped working and that someone would come by later today to fix it. But he was worried about his lover running a fever, so when he found Izuku shivering on their bed, he couldn’t bear to watch it. He cuddled up in front of him and used his wings to try and bring some warmth while bringing Izuku closer to him. He felt him immediately stop shivering and snuggled closer to the warmth. It was times like this that Keigo was grateful for, and he never wanted it to end.

“What do you mean that calculations were wrong?” “What do you mean you sent the wrong support items to Endeavor’s agency?” “What do you mean that we’re still not done with the project?” “Why would you change the meeting to the 7th! I specifically said to make it for January 7th!” Izuku has never wanted to rage and cry more than he did in that moment so when he stomped his way to his boyfriends agency and found him sitting behind his desk, he was glad at least one thing was going his way. “Bunny?” Izuku didn’t say anything just made his way to his boyfriend and Keigo opened his arms and Izuku sat on his lap with his arms around his waist and his head on his shoulder. “Bunny, what’s wrong?” “Everything! Everything is wrong! First the heater, then the support items, then the paperwork and then an early meeting that I can’t change.” Izuku kept on ranting and Keigo just let him and he listened. While Izuku was talking, Keigo wrapped his wings around them as it was getting a little cold in his office.

After realizing that Izuku was still stressing out about work, and Keigo couldn’t blame him, he decided that they should go for a walk. But that turned out to be even worse, Izuku’s phone kept buzzing and it was all work related and Keigo tried his best to not grab his phone and smash it. They came to a spot and Izuku had the urge to cry again, but something didn’t add up. This wasn’t the first time things weren’t going as planned at work and Izuku was fine, well yes he was stressed and pissed off but never was he this emotional, it must’ve been really bad this time. Just as Keigo was going to open his mouth to say something, it started snowing. They both looked up, just watching the snow fall. Keigo didn’t realize Izuku getting close to him until he felt him wrap his arms around him and he did the same in return the snow was starting to fall a little harder and Keigo used his wings to cover them from the snow. But that didn’t last long until he decided to fly them back to Izuku’s office. Which was a little warmer than the outside.

Keigo got off of work earlier than usual and went to pick up his boyfriend from work, who also was allowed to go home early. Izuku was still overwhelmed by today’s events but being around his lover always made the stress disappear bit by bit, the same could be said by Kiego about Izuku. When they got home, Izuku cooked dinner while Keigo went to go change out of his hero uniform. After they ate they cuddled up on the couch and started watching a random show but neither of them were actually paying attention. Keigo was worried about Izuku, while Izuku was thinking about how he was going to fix everything at work. “Hey, it’s gonna be fine and you know it. Endeavor isn’t going to hold it over your head, and maybe those calculations could’ve worked by miracle. You never know. And the meeting, well maybe that one might be a problem, but nothing that can be negotiable.” Izuku finally let the tears fall and Keigo pulled him into his lap and once again wrapped his wings around both of them, which he noticed seemed to calm Izuku down.

Izuku tossed and turned a lot in bed that night and Keigo was getting even more worried, so he did what he thought would work, which was pulling his boyfriend close to him and whispering sweet nothings into his ear. It took awhile for Izuku to get his nerves to calm down but as he finally felt his eyes getting heavy, he had one last request, “Can you wrap your wings around us?” How could Keigo deny him that?
