Work Text:

Tenko should have been in jail, that was something that anyone could have guessed. He was supposed to be serving a life sentence in Tartarus for his crimes, but an angel had stepped in and saved him from that hell hole, fuck was that man an angel. Tenko, after having a pretty rough encounter with a hero and nearly being beaten to death, was tossed into a hospital to heal. Under very secure supervision too.

Natsuo, that was the man’s name, the moment that Tenko laid his eyes on the other he immediately fell hard. Maybe it was because of his mutual hating for some heroes, or maybe it was because the white haired man looked at Tenko and saw an actual human instead of just a villain, but no matter the reason he saw Natsuo and knew that he needed to stay with him.

He met the man when he was placed in the hospital, he was one of the nurses that was trusted enough to watch over the villain. Tenko was pretty out of it the first time that they met, he was hyped up on pain medication and had been told that he would be interrogated by the police as soon as he was lucid. All he wanted to do was fall asleep and hope that it was all a bad dream.

Of course it wasn’t, but meeting Natsuo made everything a lot better. He was loopy, a drugged up mess, and a white haired master piece had walked through the door. He was carrying a clipboard and seemed like he just got off the phone with someone, Tenko had felt like all of the medication had worn off as soon as the man had walked through door.

The drugs were gone from his system, technically they weren’t but it felt like they were, and Tenko had sat up on the bed with wide eyes. “Uh hi?” he couldn’t believe what happened to him, it was stupid, he was a villain and he was having trouble with talking to some normal civilian.

It should have been easy, he had done so much more, he had danced with some crazy demons, and talking to a pretty guy was what finally made him nervous.

Natsuo wasn’t even fazed, which made Tenko pretty surprised, and happy but he wasn’t going to talk about that. The white haired man smiled at him and had responded with a sweet “hi”. Tenko had immediately burst into a vibrant blush. He really needed to calm himself, he was a villain and the nurse was a civilian. There was no way that could possible end well.

The man had left just as quickly as he entered, asking a few simple questions and then saying a little goodbye. Tenko didn’t think that those small words would have much effect on him, but damn was he wrong.

The blue haired man thought that playing all those dating sims would have given him a little bit of experience, but they didn’t do shit in the real world. It wasn’t like he had gotten a lot of practice though. With the League of Villain work it wasn’t as though he could go out on the street and ask someone on a date.

Tenko hadn’t had much practice at all really, he never had a boyfriend before, too much work for All for One. The other League members thought that he was a desperate little kid, it wasn’t his fault that he had been forced to train so much, and of course being hidden away from society didn’t help, that he didn’t have the time for dating.

Then that handsome, perfect, nurse had to walk into his life and he really wished that he had had some practice before. Natsuo, he quickly learned the white haired man’s name, had visited nearly every day that Tenko was in the hospital.

The first couple visits, more like the first two weeks, the blue haired man was still super embarrassed around the other whenever he had visited. Natsuo seemed like such a natural, his words flowed effortlessly while Tenko stumbled over every sentence. It was terrifying at the start, but then the words became easier to say and before he knew it the two of them were having normal conversations.

And he thought that maybe Natsuo was flirting with him, which had really caught him off guard.

The feelings that came in so quickly stayed, and then they got even worse after Natsuo got more confident. Tenko had become more confident too, joking about things while his vitals were taken, giving the white haired man some nicknames while he was at it.

But the weeks had passed, and they turned into a two month hospital stay, but after they had passed Tenko knew what was coming, there was a long court case and most likely life in prison ahead of him. What he had not expected was a sentence of two and a half years in rehab and then house arrest.

He was beyond shocked, but he didn’t question it. As long as he didn’t have to spend his life in Tartarus for the rest of his life he was fine with whatever had caused his prison sentence to be shortened.

Rehab was better than he had thought it would be.

Therapy was a constant, and Tenko was actually able too find out what was really wrong with him. At the start he hadn’t said a single word of why he became the person he was today, but months passed and he finally said a few words about his childhood. It was like the weight of the world was finally lifted off his shoulders.

Natsuo had also visited often, visitor days were ever Tuesday and the man hadn’t missed many. It seemed like he made time in his busy schedule to visit the ex villain, and by gods was he happy that the man did.

They had conversations that lasted as long as visiting time would allow, and Tenko had opened up. Not much but it was enough that he knew that he would be able to trust the taller man with anything. It was the best months of the blue haired man’s life, which was surprising seeing as they were spend in a rehab center.

And months turned into two years, before he knew it, it was time for house arrest. There was a problem in that when it was presented, that being that Tenko didn’t really have a house.

So Natsuo stepped up and suggested that the older man stay with him. Of course he had agreed immediately, and Tenko never regretted that decision once. Once more the first few weeks were awkward again but after that they had fallen into a schedule of such. Natsuo would leave in the morning to go to work and Tenko would be bored out of his mind until the other came home.

Natsuo had once compared him to a puppy, staring at the door until the younger man came home. He had refused to say that it was actually true, so the white haired man had to come up with a way that Tenko would be entertainment. Which let him talk all about video games.

That’s how the Twitch career had started.

He played video games while Natsuo was at work and had started streaming as a way to bring in money. He felt bad about putting so much pressure on the other to support the both of them so he had found a job that let him work from home and let him play as many video games as he wanted.

The news had even picked up on it, that was what caused him to gain more subs that he ever had even imagined. The news had phrased it as ‘villain Tomura Shigaraki becomes a video game star’, obviously they had to put villain in the title.

All of his subs knew who he was, and he was no stranger to hate comments in the slightest, but there was quite an influx in them after the news had leaked his channel. He could deal with it though, he knew that he had put energy in to be better, that was what mattered.

It was a nice schedule, and Tenko loved sticking to it. It also meant that he more to talk about with Natsuo, they had gotten to talk about themselves a lot in the first few months, which had just caused him to fall further.

Months passed, and Natsuo had asked him out on a date, Tenko had agreed. House arrest though meant that they would have to have it in the apartment, he didn’t mind though. It was probably for the better since people would most likely come up to them if they went out.

The dates became a frequent thing, and dates turned into actually dating.

Tenko loved every moment of it, and so did Natsuo. They were a stupid sappy couple and he loved to talk about it while he was commentating over Twitch. It had even become a running joke that he would start any story with, ‘my boyfriend’. He didn’t care what people thought though, he was the happiest that he had ever been and it was all because he had seen one pretty nurse when he was arrested.

Tenko loved Natsuo with all of his heart, no matter what the world said they were good for each other.

Notes:

I hope you all enjoyed reading this little piece. I was thinking about writing more for this ship because there just isn't enough for it but I don't really know yet.
