   Summary

   It's late 1967 in San Francisco and David is a disillusioned hippie living in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. When his brother receives a draft notice, he is desperate to save him from getting shipped to Vietnam and is willing to do anything, including accepting a mysterious offer from a stranger named Max.
