Summary
Sally and Sherlock wake to find themselves locked together, naked, in a tiny stinking closet, at the mercy of some very bad people. If either is to survive, they have to learn to put aside their differences and trust each other. Given their history, this is not an easy thing to do.

I loved it! The series have quite a bad rep in my book with female characters, the biggest one being Mary but I think the others are all in second place, not so far after her. (Maybe it's because we see it as Sherlock's environment, and maybe all the situation with Eurus made him distance himself off women in general until he was sure they were safe- eg. Mrs. Hudson, first Mary because she was closely connected with John and he proved he could trust her after that CAM incident, etcetera etcetera; or at least feel like he's aware of the situation, Ms. Adler).
Anyway, after all the theorizing, my point is that in the series we see her as mean with all that name-calling, trying to steer John off Sherlock's life to what she sees as safety. She's not the nicest towards Sherlock, yes, but usually I've seen ppl deform her into a hateful horrible person, if they're including her into fics at all. What I mean is, it's refreshing to see her as the strong person she is, thar doesn't back up from danger, instead she faces it. It's truly wonderful when these two realize the other is not a total jerk, I think they compliment quite well to resolve the problem at hand. This was really nice! -
