Dragging the dead carcass of the deer that he hunted as dinner, Sukuna sighs.
He's starting to regret accepting the human's proposal- as accidentally as it is- for few reasons that he's too irritated to actually list down.
One of the reasons that causes Sukuna irritation right now though, is because he doesn't know what the human eats. Sure, Sukuna could eat the whole deer without any problem. But what about the human? He can't have him starving himself to death. Not on Sukuna's watch.
And as much as Sukuna isn't inclined to share his dinner, he guessed he have to suck it up and give the human something to eat. He can always hunt whenever he feel hungry, but that's not the same case with the human. Not with the 'larger than normal' animals here as Yuuji once said.
Arriving at his nest, he dropped the deer on the ground with a thud. Sukuna heard the tell tale sound of hurried footsteps coming towards his direction before he sees the human's smiling face.
"Welcome back, Sukuna!" Yuuji happily chirps. Sukuna only grunted as an answer as he turned his back on him, turning his attention on the deer that laid beside his tail.
"You're being cold again. Aren't you gonna greet me 'i'm home'?"
Rolling his eyes Sukuna sighs.
"I'm home, Yuuji. There, are you happy now?" He didn't turn around to see Yuuji's smile widen as he nods.
"Hm! Welcome home, Sukuna!"
God, why did he accepted this human's proposal again? Ah, right. He called him 'pretty.' No one had the gall to call him pretty before so he acted impulsively. He regrets that now.
"What's that deer for?" Yuuji asked curiously. The tip of Sukuna's tail flicked in irritation. He's never one who has the patience to answer every question this brat has.
"Obviously, its for dinner."
Unceremoniously ripping one of the deer's leg from its body, Sukuna turns around to face the still smiling Yuuji and shoves the leg into his hands. He watched as the human blinks owlishly at him for a few seconds, and then to the bleeding leg he now hold.
"I don't know what you eat brat. But if you can eat animal meat, then eat that one before you die in starvation."
Somehow the smile on the brat's face widened even more. (Sukuna is having second thoughts if this brat is a purebred human or not. How can a he manage to stretch his mouth widely like that if he isn't a half snake or something?)
"Sukuna, you're actually really nice when you're not threatening to eat me whole."
Sukuna clicked his tongue. "Shut up and eat before i change my mind."
"But it wasn't even cooked yet. I don't have any lighter with me so i could make a fire and cook it. I can't eat the meat raw. That would be unsanitary." Yuuji said with a cringe. Sukuna blankly stared at him.
"You need fire to eat food?"
The confusion must be obvious in his voice as he watch the human nods and answer his question.
"Yeah! We cook our food using fire before eating it. That way the fire kills the germs and also it makes the food tastier."
'What a load of bullshit, these humans just made things more complicated. Eating raw meat is what makes it tasty.' Sukuna thought. He didn't voice it out though as he turns around, ripping the other leg of the deer and taking a bite on it.
Bringing one of his claw up, he let his cursed energy lit his hand on fire. He heard the human gasp, and when he looks at him, he saw the human watch the fire with wonder.
"You can make fire with your hands? That's so cool!"
Somehow that made his face feel hot.
"Whatever." He brought the deer leg back up to his mouth and bite onto it, hoping that it could mask the heat he could feel on his face.
Damn this human and his compliments.
