Chapter Text

Everyone knows how clingy Eijun is with his boyfriend. He is always loud about his feelings, after all. No matter whether it’s when he is hanging out with his close friends, or he’s out in public with the presence of dozens of strangers who probably would rather not see him trying to steal a kiss from Kazuya’s lips every other minute. The bottom line is, everyone knows how clingy Eijun can be.

That being said, frankly, not many people know that his boyfriend Kazuya is just as bad—if not even worse.

It’s not something that people could normally pick up at a first glance. Well, unless you're a rare case who possess exceptionally sharp eyes. Because the thing is, Miyuki Kazuya is as wicked as you might think a person could be. And putting up a stealth act, to no one’s surprise, comes just as easy as flipping hands for Kazuya.

The first time Eijun began to suspect it was one day after their team lost a practice game. Eijun himself was pretty frustrated—that much was obvious to anyone who saw him passing by. Kazuya though, had been acting just as cheeky as his usual self, which managed to convince almost everyone that their main catcher was fine. Except he pretty much wasn’t fine. Only Eijun who belatedly realized that fact.

The thing is, Kazuya was a little too touchy with Eijun post that game. A little too much ‘accidental’ skin contact. A little too much leaning. A little too much playful slap. A little too much fingers grazing, subtle shirt grasping, and so on. Until the night came—when a disheveled Kazuya half desperately dragged Eijun to his room the second they done reviewing their previous performance with the team—that Eijun finally came to realized something very unusual was happening with his boyfriend.

Well, it was their first month of dating, after all. You can’t really blame him for being rather slow at picking up the signs of his boyfriend’s mood. Not to mention, trying to get through the barrier of some as closed off as Miyuki Kazuya requires more patience and mental strength than you’d imagine. No matter how determined Eijun is, he swears getting through his own boyfriend is multiple times way worse than conditioning his body into throwing controlled pitches, and that says something.

Not that Eijun ever planned to give up, though.
