Summary
The desert is long, and hot, and Claude knows that he must make his way through it in order to return to his daemon's side. After years of tutoring and training in Almyra, followed by his years in Fódlan through the Officer's Academy and then the war, he is finally ready to take his place as King of Almyra. In this final ordeal before he is allowed to be coronated, though, he must first wade through the memories of everything and everyone he left behind, including his unfinished business with Lorenz.
