It makes it so I need you no matter what, so I couldn’t live without you even if I didn’t love you, even if I wanted to.” Venti sniffled, sucking in a harsh breath as his voice became little more than a whisper. “..But you don’t have that, do you? You’re not bound to me.”

   “Aether.” The God breathed again, agonized and heartbroken and so desperately in love all at once as he pinned the Abyss Prince in place with his pleading gaze. “What’s going to keep you from leaving my side?”
