    Summary

    It's hard for Meng Yao to get what he wants; it's worse when he gets what he needs. Especially when it's delivered with a great deal of love.

     "You forget, I know," Lan Xichen says as he presses a kiss to the top of Meng Yao's head. "I'm sorry I made you feel like you have to test me." This is worse than the 'I'm disappointed.'

    Behind the gag, Meng Yao almost screams. It comes out as a choked-off whine as he catches himself. He's going to vibrate out of his skin. 

    "Shh, shh," Lan Xichen soothes, pressing another kiss to his head. "Enough of that A-Yao. I've got you; I'll take care of you, I promise."
