Hi hello! I’m the author, nice to meet you? I highly doubt this story will end up being read by many people, since let’s be honest, the main ships this fic focuses on are mostly all crack ships who don’t receive much attention, but I was writing about my comfort ships on my notes app and I decided I’d maybe publish it on here just in case there are desperate people like me looking for more content.
Sometimes I seriously wonder why we can’t be obsessed with the popular main characters. But for some reason we find comfort in side characters who get about five minutes of screen time, and that’s okay!
This story mainly focuses on Monoyama (Monoma x Aoyama), Kamishin, (Kaminari x Shinsou) and Serowase! (Sero x Awase). Now listen, you’re probably confused about Serowase, I mean the other ships might not be extremely popular, but they’re known, however I’m pretty sure about three people ship Serowase.
Well they’re sort of huge comfort characters but I never really pictured them together till I saw an adorable headcanon of Sero stealing Awase’s headbands and I sort of fell in love with the dynamic of Awase being extremely flustered and grumpy and Sero being really sappy and sweet. So I hope you don’t mind them being in this story!
Alright then, I’m going to make a few points before we start which I really hope you don’t mind reading!
- Swearing!! Especially from Monoma, yup this boy likes to say fuck a lot so if you’re not comfortable with him jokingly throwing swear words at people then I’m so sorry but this fic is probably not the right one for you! I mean they’re teenagers, you can’t expect them to not say shit from time to time. ;)
- I mentioned this in the tags, but this story won’t have any smut at all! I’m not comfortable with writing smut, and also, they’re minors, so it’s all a big no no. There might be making out, and a few affectionate neck kisses, but nothing is too extreme and this will mostly be a lot of fluff and comfort! :)
- I’m writing this story as I go, therefore I don’t have everything planned out yet, so I’m open to suggestions and maybe even rare pairs you might want me to write about! If it means that I get to give a fellow crack shipper the content they deserve, I can make chapters in between dedicated to those certain ships!! Also sorry if the story is a bit messy at times, I’m not extremely great at writing.
- Since I’m self projecting a lot, this story will probably contain angst and chapters that talk about what the characters are going through, like anxiety, insecurities, bad parenting etc. There will probably be panic attacks and mentions of self harm (whether it’s consciously or subconsciously), and while I’ll make sure to put a warning in front of the parts that mention it, This is just a reminder to think about yourself and if any of these topics will affect your mental state. Worry about yourself first please!
- However, I don’t plan on focusing this story entirely on these serious topics and this fic will contain way more fluff and humor!
- You’ll be getting to know the characters and their backstories throughout the fic so there’s no need for me to explain anything important about them on here apart from one thing >:). Monoma is canonically taller than Aoyama, just keep in mind that in this fic Aoyama is a little bit shorter than how he is in canon and Monoma a bit taller, since I might have adorable headcanons of Monoma trying to piss off Aoyama for being shorter this is essential to the story and therefore Aoyama’s height reaches up to Monoma’s shoulder, or a little bit above his shoulder. (If that doesn’t make sense, just have in mind that Aoyama is sorta short)
- Aoyama does speak french throughout this story but mostly its nicknames like mon coeur which means my heart, and other nonsense like irrelevant sentences, so you don’t have to translate them if you don’t speak french. He’s also going to be calling Monoma mon chéri which means my sweetheart/darling (This is sorta important but you’ll see).
Well, I think that kind of wraps up the introduction! I honestly write when I need to take my mind off things and I decided that I might as well put all my writing on AO3 !! If anyone ends up reading this, Enjoy! <3
