His mother disregards him, “I expect to see you there, young man. The whole family will be there this weekend. And you better bring that date of yours.”
Yoongi shoots Jimin a nervous glance but says nothing.
“Uh huh, that’s what I thought,” his mother peacocks on the other end. “If you’re up to something after 10pm, we should meet her, don’t you think?”
“Mom, I—“
“I expect you both there and that is final.”
The line cuts and Yoongi drops his phone in stunned silence.
Jimin wraps an arm around Yoongi, pressing a light kiss into his shoulder. “At least it wasn’t Jungkook interrupting us this time, right?”
