Danganronpa One Shots (Requests Open Again!)

Summary:

For any requests you might have, and for me to write simple one shots in my downtime! All Danganronpa related.
Open to (almost) any pairings you may be looking to read about, and especially welcome to any rarepairs!

Sorry for being super slow, but they're back open! No promises on how quickly they're gonna be posted, my motivation varies.

(Note as of September 21st, 2023) Woah, we're over 3,000 hits now, that's crazy! Thank you all for reading, or at least viewing the fic. We're also over 32,000 words, which is also wild! It's great to see my own writing improve from the 2-ish years since this began. It's been getting easier to make longer stories, too, which is nice. Glad I'm back to do some writing, it's very fun.

(January 7th, 2026) Well, over 6,000 hits now! Thank you everyone for reading yet again. We're over 40,000 words now somehow. I hope to keep updating this for a while longer, even if it's slow. Keep giving me requests and I'll keep trying to fulfill them, even if it takes me ages. It has been wonderful to see the improvement from 5 years ago.

Welcome! Please enjoy. I'm super slow with updating, but I try my best to get them done.

(Quick note as of September 19th, 2023. Up to this point I've been trying to get prompts done in order of me receiving them to be somewhat fair. However, this has led to some prompts being delayed for... Uh, like a year and a half. Soooo, instead of suffering with that, I might skip over your prompt briefly. If this happens I'm either really struggling to get it done for some reason, happened to get sudden inspiration for another particular prompt and wanted to get it done fast before it faded, or your prompt is just particularly longer than some of the others. It might also be that you've requested a prompt before and I'd like to prioritize prompts from new individuals, too, but I will certainly try to make sure yours gets completed. If it's been a particularly long while and I've posted plenty of other prompts before yours, feel free to remind me. Thank you again for reading! I love seeing all the prompts and trying them.)

(Update 2, as of March 9th, 2024! I'm going to make a list of prompts currently in the works. Feel free to come and check. I might write a few updates on progress depending on how things are going and how long it's been, along with an approximation on which ones I'm prioritizing! This is also since I sometimes don't reply to request comments and after a few weeks I realize it would be strange for me to reply and get your hopes up that your prompt is done, so I just never do. So this is a good way to know if I'm doing it!
I am also going to update chapter names to reflect if they are a ship or not! Characters with "x" between them are ships, characters with "and" between them are friendships or just fics involving the two that can be ambiguous, and anything without those markers is either a single character or something else!)

Hello! My name is Shadowclaw, Shadow, Shade, or basically anything else! I go by all pronouns.

Anyways, here are the rules when making a request!
- I will NOT write about smut or anything similar!
- No crossovers, OCs, or reader inserts! I might do this some other time, though.
- No ships that are illegal or toxic! I love rarepairs and basically any and all ships, so feel free to request basically anything else, though!
- A prompt is no longer necessary! I have tons of prompts and ideas now, however, I would like a guideline for general things like fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, etc. Unless you want it to be a surprise, in which case feel free to skip that!
- I might reject your request for one reason or another if I don't want to do the ship or whatever else. Feel free to recommend something else if this happens.
- I have watched the anime, but it's been a while, so I'd prefer if you didn't, but I am still willing to write it, with some limitations. I'll probably only do minimal research for characters, etc. if you do. (I have not read the novels or anything else, though, so please don't put in prompts from them.)
- Feel free to request more than one thing! But try not to request two things at the same time, wait till I finish your first request, then send the second one! (Or put a list of them and I'll select my favorite, or you can mention which one you want done first)

- When requesting, please feel free to include headcanons! If they're relevant I'll try to include them.
- One particular rule regarding this, please include desired pronouns for Chihiro when requesting fics including them. If you don't, I'll try to default to they/them!
- Possibly also consider if you're requesting something involving the Ultimate Imposter to put preferred pronouns for them! I'll probably default to he/they

I might end up being slow for the requests, so please be patient! I'll try to finish prompts eventually, (even if it takes a few years-). I'll try to have your prompt done in at least a month. But sometimes it does take a super long time, so sorry if it takes forever! I'll try to finish it someday, and that's maybe a promise.

One last note! As of May 11th, 2024 any fics I write for this series that are over 5,000 words will get their own fic as I feel they're long enough to go there! I've made this a series so they're easier to find.

I'm best at hurt/comfort, but I love a good hanahaki and a soulmate AU along with fluff and angst. Not the best at writing mystery, and horror, but I'm willing to try!
