Summary
An alternative universe where James and Michael aren’t actors. They are childhood friends, living somewhere in Scotland. James decides to try himself as a sex worker. He needs money not for himself though. He plans to give everything he can for the charity projects. Soon a mother of an ill child contacts him, and James is determined to sacrifice his organs for the others’ sake. Michael finds out and tells James’s family, so they put him in a mental institution. James cares about the inmates there. He uses his artistic talent to entertain people and to take their minds off the problems. The inmates and staff are fond of him. He likes them in return, so he’s sad when it’s time to go out. When he finally does, he decides to work as a cleaner in a local hotel where he meets his old friend Michael… who is now Michaela. Michael changed his sex while James was in the institution. Because Michael has been dreaming about wearing women’s clothes for so long! James can’t stand his friend’s new appearance and freaks out. He immediately regrets his violent reaction and soon, together with Michaela, they work to return their warm relationship back.
