Summary
The seasons have been disrupted, and Nico is the only demigod at Camp Half-Blood who seems to understand why; something has happened to the goddess of Springtime. When his father visits him in a dream, Hades informs Nico that his friend, Leo Valdez, is alive and must complete a quest as recompence for cheating death. Together, Leo and Nico must retrieve Hades’ wife, Persephone, from the powerful Dryad Minthe, who still holds a deep grudge against the goddess for turning her into a mint plant after uncovering her affair with Hades.
