it’s been over half a year since i’ve read a fic this long. it’s been so long since i’ve read a fic that made me feel so connected to the characters and their stories and the whole environment, and god i have missed that so much. it’s mainly the reason i clicked on this even though i wasn’t sure whether i’d be able to stick with it or not—but honestly, the synopsis had me from the beginning itself.
i loved so many things about this fic, and it’s really felt like a whole journey. the way taehyung felt during his relationship with hyungsik feels like so long ago, and the big taekook fight also feels like forever ago (it was so needed, though). you’re a great author who knows exactly how long to maintain a certain plot point, so nothing ever felt like it was dragging (which is absurdly rare), so i really want to appreciate that.
your writing reminded me of how i myself used to write 6 years ago, but it was also incredible to witness how yours improved as the fic went on.
i also adore when fics introduce new characters and make you feel connected to them too! eunjae, jihoon, nira… i loved all of them so much, in addition to our main ensemble of course. every single character was great, there were so many satisfying moments in the fic, but my favourite part of it all was undoubtedly how jungkook and taehyung developed—how understanding they were of each other. witnessing how they grew with/alongside each other was the most beautiful thing. gosh, they really were destined.
overall, thank you for writing this! it must’ve been a long process but you executed it really well, and your world building was fantastic. i’m really, truly appreciative of the fact that i was able to feel this connected to a story and its characters after so, so long. i missed this. thank you.
