Work Text:
Helena may be tough as hell, but she still bruises easily.
Even though Dinah only lightly bit her, the taut skin on the left side of Helena’s neck is dotted with mauve bruises, blossoming like springtime flowers. Underneath one bruise, Dinah can make out Helena’s pulse thrumming along at double time. She carefully runs her thumb over it, feels the blood surging underneath Helena’s skin. Helena’s throat bobs as she swallows, and her head falls to the side, cheek pressing into the pillow. While the bruises are now covered up, the movement shows off the unmarked, porcelain skin on the right side of her neck, and the sheer potential makes Dinah’s head spin.
“Do you want more?” she asks, pulling her gaze away from Helena’s neck so that she can look up into her dark brown eyes. Without hesitation, Helena nods.
“Yes,” she says. Her face isn’t lacking in color either – in addition to her eyes, her cheeks are flushed red, and her bitten lips are a dark pink shade that almost looks like lipstick. Absently, Dinah runs her thumb over the latter and is met with a soft gasp.
As much as she wants to press her thumb harder into Helena’s bottom lip, see if she can get that gasp a little louder, she has other business to attend to.
So, dipping her head back down, she presses her teeth into the lovely skin below the curve of Helena’s jaw.
Within moments, she has another mauve blossom to admire.
