“Hey, Wednesday?” Enid asked, draping herself over her mate’s back, mindful of her arms so she didn’t disturb her typing.
She hummed noncommittally, her fingers not slowing on the keys of her typewriter.
“You know how everyone says what you’re doing at midnight on New Year’s is what you’ll do for the rest of the year?” she asked, her right hand picking at a loose thread on Wednesday’s collar.
“I do not,” she answered plainly.
The werewolf swallowed hard. “Well, I was thinking-”
“I didn’t realize that was something you were capable of,” Wednesday taunted, her fingers stilling as she turned to look at her, “What is your idea, mi loba?”
It took her a moment to respond because she was busy looking at her mate’s perfect face. Her dark, expressive eyes, the fringe that came down to mask the depths of those eyes, her full lips that should really be used for something other than talking right now. Enid felt her cock respond to her train of thought, and she shifted her weight, hoping it wouldn’t be obvious.
“I was thinking that I should knot you right at midnight,” she answered, her face sprinkled with a dusting of pink.
