Work Text:

This town is a quiet town. Generally. But, it’s home to a set of septuplets. Deadly Sin Septuplets. Each one of these sisters are bestowed with a certain power, and when they use them, it usually isn’t in a good way. Heists happen. Many things are stolen. Everyone knows who took them.

At the very end of the town, lies a large mansion, ghosted by a thick gate and a shadow of dark trees overlaying it. No one dares enter. In all the years that the Sin Sisters have lived in this city, they have never been caught. Because no one can ever surpass the strength that these sisters have when working together, the strength for evil.

~Lust~

“How about another, darling?” Luxe purred, running her hand down her client’s arm. The man laughed lightly and agreed.

“Anything to see your pretty face.” She smiled to herself, with a hint of amusement before marking something on a slip of paper.

“Of course.” Luxe got up to go up to the counter, the barista waving her over.

He whispered in her ear. “Celine is here. She wants Lux.” Luxe grinned. Ah, her regular.

She nodded. “Take care of Mr. Bubble over here,” she joked, gesturing to her previous customer.

Then, she left for the changing rooms. She adjusted her ring, letting the process start. Within minutes, and through a purple-tinted cloud, she emerged as Lux.

He took in a breath, adjusting his outfit’s collar. “That’s a bit better.” He left the room, finding Celine sitting at a table waiting for him.

“Lux!” Her eyes brightened as she saw her favorite host.

He gave her a practiced smile, sliding into the seat next to her. “How’s my favorite girl?”

Just a little attention, and Luxe’s pay for today was racking up. Oh, how she loved her job.

~Gluttony~

“Thank you. I’ll have them bring your order soon.” Grace gave the customer a hospitable smile, jotting a note down, and handing it to the chefs in the kitchen. Another one came up to the counter, sporting a unfriendly facial expression as if he had a bone to pick with her.

“I’d like the seafood gumbo.” Grace nodded, with barely a look towards him. “But, I gotta tell you something,” he mentioned annoyed, pointing a finger at her.

She raised an eyebrow. “Oh? What?”

“Your sister Priscilla sucks. All that pride to my face, of all people. Just cuz I told her she should shut her mouth and wear some smaller earrings.” Grace’s blood boiled, but she didn’t let it show on her face. Usually, she liked customers and was nothing but sweet to them. But, how dare this man insult her sister? He deserves some punishment.

“Oh, and make that a double portion. With two extra servings of breadsticks.” Gluttonous too.

“Of course, and don’t worry. I’ll take care of it myself,” she said, her smile dripping with fake sugar, before leaving for the kitchen.

The order was brought to the man’s table, where he dug into his meal voraciously. Grace watched in amusement, anytime soon now. His expression changed and he grabbed his stomach, worriedly glancing around. “Where’s the bathroom?” he desperately asked the person next to him, and when they pointed to the sign, he rushed as quickly as possible to it.

Another person came out the bathroom, coming up to the counter, mentioning to Grace, “He sounds like he ate something explosive in there.”

“I’m sure it was delicious.”

~Pride~

“Cut. Great job, Pris,” the director complimented as Priscilla walked off the set to take a sip of water. She laughed lightly after setting it down.

“I’m always doing a great job,” she replied.

“Yeah, ever since you’ve been on the show, the views have skyrocketed. They love you.” He was very proud of his lead actor.

“And if they don’t, I’ll make them love me,” she mentioned with a smirk.

“Oh, by the way, the manager’s son is coming to look around the set with her today. She should be arriving anytime soon now.” True, to his word, a ten year old boy raced in through the doors, followed by a well-dressed woman.

“Liam, calm down before you bump into something,” she warned. That didn’t stop him from accidentally knocking a little into Priscilla making her turn around.

“Oh, is this the kid?” she inquired.

“Who’s this weird lady?” he muttered. His mother rubbed at her head with a sigh.

“Priscilla Sin, thank you. The lead actor here. You’ll love me soon enough.”

“I don’t think so. Your hair is weird.” He huffed, crossing his arms.

Her eyes got a strong look in them. “Oh. You think that, do you?” She crouched down to his level, holding his shoulders, and fixing her gaze into his eyes. “No. My hair is beautiful. I am beautiful.”

He got a slightly dazed look in his eyes, nodding his head slowly. “Yeah, you’re pretty…”

She stood up with a smile, patting his shoulder. “Good, that’s settled. I now have a new fan.”

Liam looked up, snapping out of it, and suddenly getting a grin. “Hey, Priscilla! Can you show me around and stuff?” The manager and her shared a grin, as the director gave a pleased thumbs up.

“Gladly.”

~Envy~

“Done.” Eila spun her client’s chair around so she could see the new shorter haircut that she asked for. “How do you like it?”

“Oh my God! It’s amazing. I swear your haircuts are like magic. Every time I come, it’s always so great,” the girl said excitedly, testing angles to better see how it looked.
Eila twirled her scissors, and tucked them back into her apron. “As expected. I do nothing, but quality.”

As that customer left happy, she settled back into her place at the counter. Someone barged through the doors. “Eila! I. Can’t. Believe. You.”

“Hm. You look familiar.” Eila didn’t pay much interest to the fuming girl, inspecting her nails.

“I was here last week! You ruined me!”

“If I recall correctly, you said you loved your haircut, and it was the best one you ever got,” Eila replied calmly.

“Well, it’s starting to grow out! And it looks terrible! I should have never gotten it.” She glared at her former hairstylist, who rolled her eyes.

“Hair grows. That’s why you cut it again so it looks good. Duh.” This lady was crazy. “I wonder if you’re like this at other hairdressers,” she mused.

“Ugh!” she huffed. “I want a refund.”

“Sorry, no.” She pointed to the sign behind her. “No refunds for irrational requests.”

“You are despicable,” she seethed, stomping out angrily.

“Be careful, they’re painting the neighbors. Watch out,” Eila warned, with a knowing grin.

She was heedless to the comment, and stormed out that way, walking under a ladder before slipping on a paint puddle, knocking her head backwards into the ladder again, shaking the paint bucket above, and having it spill all over her. Her hair was now a bright green.

Eila watched from the window. “At least, she got a free dye job.”

~Wrath~

Xia stretched before her match, revving herself up to face her next opponent. Apparently this guy was known for his misogynistic comments to female contenders. She was going to have to see that for herself. “Hey, little Red,” a teasing voice came from above.

Her eyebrows furrowed and she stood up to her full height looking him dead in the eye. “Who are you calling little, you Brick ? I break those for a living.”

He just laughed. “It’s Brock. Don’t get your panties in a twist. We’ll have a nice round. You land one, and then I knock you out. Easy for everybody involved.”

“What makes you so confident, that you’ll even be able to land a hit on me?” She crossed her arms, giving him an incredulous look.

“Women are generally weaker,” he said easily, with a shrug.

She got a fire in her eyes, as she pulled him by the shirt until there was mere inches between them and he could feel her breath as she spoke. “You aren’t going home until you break something.”

Brock got a chill up his spine as she released him, but brushed it off as just a fluke. “Well, you’re a feisty one. Sounds like this will be interesting.” All he got in return, was an expression of disgust.

***

A few minutes in, Brock was starting to struggle. Xia had avoided or blocked every hit he attempted, and every time she hit him, it felt like each one was harder. As she sent another knee to his gut, he buckled, gripping the ropes on the side of the ring as he tried to support himself.

She might actually win this. No. She couldn’t. It would ruin his perfect streak. He’s never lost a match. Losing one to a woman of all people, would be the worst for his reputation.

“Tired, yet? You can always just give up. Save you the hassle of needing a stretcher.” She gave him a grin, knowing a win was in her lines.

He gave a groan, before pressing back and lunging towards her with a punch. She easily moved out of the way, landing a strong elbow to his back and knocking him to the floor. The referee counted, and she watched him struggle. “9...10...Down!”

Brock groaned and let his head fall back down. He got beat by this woman. He looked at her with an incredulous stare, how could she be this strong?

She looked at him before giving a chuckle, and mentioning to the referee that he might need some medical attention. Truth to what she said, he did get carried away on a stretcher, and Xia was awarded the win, proud of breaking Brock’s streak. One brick broken. Plenty more to go.

~Sloth~

“Fluffer makes the comfiest pillows for a better night’s rest. You’ll fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow,” Selene told the camera, before acting out the example, and resting her head on the pillow. She immediately knocked out into a deep sleep.

They cut the scene of the commercial, and a new assistant asked, “Is that normal? She looks actually asleep.”

“That’s because she is.” The director yawned lightly. “She makes everybody sleepy here.”

His assistant was still surprised by how fast and easily it happened. “I thought she had three cups of coffee this morning…”

“Yeah, that’s just to keep her awake for part of the day. She’ll need more when she wakes up. You should go do that, before you catch the napping bug  I’m getting.” He yawned again, making his point, making the other leave quickly to go prepare the coffee. “She likes extra creamer, by the way.”

~Greed~

Hailey tapped her fingers against the glass, the golden metal gleaming in the light. It was a slow day, but her eyes lit up as she heard the bell of someone coming into the store. “Welcome! How may I help you?”

“Um, I’m looking for a ring. Just something to wear. Preferably gold,” she said, looking around and into the display cases.

“We’ve got lots of those. Do you like diamonds or is there another gemstone you’d prefer?”

She laughed. “Well, you know what they say, diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”

“Completely! Come take a look at this section. I’m guessing you’re a size seven?” Hailey asked, after gesturing to a case near the side.

“Yes, how did you know?” The woman looked surprised.

“I have a gift,” Hailey replied easily with a grin. “See anything you like?”

She pointed to a ring, with diamonds arranged in a vaguely floral shape. “That one’s nice.”

Hailey nodded, taking it out for her to try on. “It looks very nice on you. It’s a good price too.”

“Oh, how much?”

“Only around 450 for you. Usually, this would run you at least 800. Practically a steal for the quality.” This was all a lie. The gold was fake and so were the diamonds. But, Hailey was an expert at making sales. So she pushed it. “But, you came in at a good time. Everything in this case is 6% off. Do you prefer a lump sum or would you rather make a payment plan?”

“I’d prefer to pay at one time.”

“Okie dokie! I’ll ring you up.” She left to the register, plugging in some numbers. “That’ll be $423. You can just swipe your card there.” As she did so, Hailey packed the ring into a box and a bag, and sent her on her way with a smile.

Yes, it was a scam, but a small one. The customer still got something pretty to wear even if it wasn’t real. But, if she did ever come back, the policy was Exchanges Only, No Refunds Allowed.

~The Heist~

It was almost evening when the Sisters returned home from work. During dinner, Hailey decided to give voice to another idea she had. “Let’s rob the bank.”

Grace disagreed, through a face full of mashed potatoes. “Hailey, no,” she said before stuffing more in her mouth. “Bad idea.”

Luxe sighed. “I feel like it’s too much effort.”

“You could seduce the guard, I know you like him,” Hailey mentioned to the eldest.

“Hm, tempting.” She glanced at Selene who was snoozing next to the youngest sister.

Hailey shook her awake for a little bit. “Hey, Sel, let’s break into the bank.”

“I’d rather take a nap…” she mumbled before falling asleep again.

“Come on, Priscilla! We’d have so much more money! To buy things!”

Xia rolled her eyes. “You have too much junk already, Hailey. Your room looks like it belongs to a hoarder from those TV shows. You don’t need to buy any more stuff.”

“I agree. She should get rid of some instead,” Eila added.

Priscilla actually seemed interested. “I don’t know, I think it might be fun.”

“Yay!” Hailey knew she was going to get her way today.

Grace sighed, her attempt at being the voice of reason futile. If Priscilla allowed it, it was going to happen. “Fine, but don’t expect me to join you guys.”

Hailey got a grin like a cat, speaking lowly. “We start tonight.”

***

At the entrance of the bank, the first thing to be done was to dismantle the cameras. Priscilla was in charge of that, avoiding cameras was her specialty, and she shut them all down easily, ushering the rest in.  Selene and Luxe were next to play double-team. Luxe baited the guards, sending them flirty looks until they were brought close enough for Selene to knock them out with a little sleeping dust.

They were at the safe now. Xia wanted to smash it open, but everyone agreed that would be a little too much. Eila offered to hack the safe, a skill she learned from revenge against too many people who made the mistake of wronging her, and it slid open with a loud creak.

“Can I break things now?” Xia asked.

Everyone shook their heads. “No, Xia. You gotta help me collect the gold and money,” Hailey replied, handing her a large bag.

“This heist sucks,” she grumbled, but took the bag.

“You take the gold, I take the cash,” Hailey instructed, swiping the stacks of money with practiced finesse. Xia lugged the heavy bars into the bag, something that no one could normally carry so easily, if it wasn’t for her power of strength. As she got more annoyed, the bag felt lighter in her arms, despite the extra bars being put in.

“You got everything?” Eila whispered, from outside the door, the rest keeping watch.

“Yeah. Let’s go,” Hailey said, slinging her bag on her shoulder and making her way out, Xia not far behind her.

They got home with barely a scratch, Grace waiting for them. “How’d it go?”

Hailey just grinned and opened the bags, the bright green and gold shining from inside. Her sister just sighed, with a mention of “I guess we’re not destined for anything much than evil.”

“That’s because evil is fun.”
