Goodie List: Bakugou part 1-3

Summary:

Class 1A all agreed, that their class challenge was a lot of fun. Everyone kept collecting stickers for nice things they did for others and things went great, until they all realized one very important detail. While Bakugou managed to surprise everyone with how nice he could be, he somehow received the least amount of personal favors himself.

8 short stories of students from 1A being nice to Bakugou.

Chapter 1: Goodie List: Bakugou Part 1

Notes:

Hello, if this is the first chaper you read of this series, the most important thing to know is that class 1A decided to have a class challenge and reward one another with stickers.

This is part 1 of Bakugou's chapter. The style this time is a little different to the others, but I hope you'll like it :) I added the character's name at the beginning of each section, so you can skip some characters if you want. If there are any typos ect. I am terribly sorry. I wanted to get this chapter out but did not have the time to proof read it thoroughly.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Class 1A

Their sticker project started as a joke, but it turned more serious as time went on. They all grew closer, learning new things about one another. Their posters filled up much faster than any of them thought. and their pile of stickers shrunk drastically. They all made the same observation though. Somehow, the least amount of stickers on posters came in the form of explosions. While Bakugou's poster was full the blonde himself still had the most stickers leftover.

Mina carefully tried to remember, if Bakugou had just been stingy, but after some consideration she came to the realization that she had not put much effort into doing nice things for the blonde specifically. Only one row had nine out of ten explosion stickers. To no ones surprise those stickers all were designed like a rock. It was time to consult others about this issue.

The common area was relatively busy, with only few people missing. Mina quickly invited the rest to come down for a very important meeting. Only Bakugou remained in his room, having no idea what was going on in the common area.

"Mina, what did you want to talk about at this very important meeting?" Ida asked.
"Shouldn't we wait until Bakugou is here?" Kirishima asked. He was about to text him, when Mina grabbed his phone with a shrill "NO!"
"What the hell?" Sero asked a little shocked, but could not help his grin at the site of Mina hanging over the couch.

"Why don't you want him to be here?" Kirishima asked, sounding a little hurt. Did his boyfriend do anything bad? At this point that was hard to believe. No matter how rough and tough Bakugou acted, everyone knew by now that deep inside he was nothing but a squishy, nice guy.

"It's nothing bad! I promise." Mina quickly said. "It is about our project."
"Did he do something wrong?" Ida asked carefully.
That resulted in several confused and disbelieving looks.
"No, no. Like...more like the opposite." Mina said. "How many stickers are you missing?"

"One." Krishima said immediately.
"Hmm... I think 9." Yaoyorozu said.
"Yeah same I think."
"Maybe Twelve?"
"Thirteen."

Before everyone could list a number Mina interrupted. "Okay, okay. And who are you missing most stickers from?"
There was a moment of silence, in which a few glanced over to the posters, until Midoriya spoke up. "I only have six stickers left, but they are all for Kacchan."

"See!" Mina said triumphantly. "Me too!"
"Oh." Yaoyorozu said, catching on to what Mina was trying to say.
"He's pretty good at avoiding me. Or at least he was." Midoriya said. "But I suppose I could have tried harder sometimes."

"Ah..." realization hit Kirishima as well. A soft smile took place on his face.
"Yup. This is exactly why I called this meeting. Bakugou is the one with the most stickers left, despite being one the first to collect all on his poster." Mina said.
"He even was nice to me!" Dark Shadow piped up.
"That does sound like an unfair problem." Yaoyorozu admitted.

"Don't worry about it too much. He is a bit stubborn." Kirishima tried to assure her.
"Nope! No excuses will be made. We have to step up our game! If we have to, by forcing our kindness on him!" Mina declared.
"Krishima, oh wise Bakugou whisperer! Please let us in on the secret of doing nice things for your explosive boy!"

"I'm not sure if those favors should be copied by us..." Mineta whispered quietly and received an agreeing nod from Shouji, who stood next to the short boy."
"Ah...ugh..." Kirishima blushed a little.
"Oh god. Please don't tell me he gave you stickers for kissing?" Mina asked. Sero and Kaminari were torn between looking reluctant and laughing. They ended up chuckling at the red head's expense.

"I mean...not all? There are plenty other nice things you can do for him. You should all know that. It's not like he never gave any of you a sticker before." Kirishima said.
"I'm pretty sure I got mine because I cooked for everyone." Ochako admitted.
"And cleaned, ribbit." Tsuyu added.

"He gave me one for training with him." Kaminari said proudly. "Though he actually offered to help me out, so I'm not sure how fairly won that sticker was..." He sighed.
"Okay, so we all have to figure out what we can do for Bakugou." Sero summarized their problem.

"Wait!" Ochako said. "I'm sure we could come up with a solution together, but wouldn't it be better if we actually tried ourselves individually? Like we did with everyone else?"
"That is a valid point." Ida said.
"Okay, but what if he just keeps avoiding us?" Mina asked, crossing her arms, now that she sat on the couch and no longer hung over it.

"He won't ignore you forever. He also has a pretty strict schedule, so there are plenty of times you can catch him." Kirishima said.
"I don't mind figuring out a way to get the stickers on my own." Hagakure said.
"We could still plan something together for him. This all started because of him after all, didn't it? Well and you of course, Mina." Jirou suggested.

"You mean like a party?" Kaminari said, eyes sparkling .
"You really think he would like a party though?" Sero asked. Both Kaminari and Sero turned to look at their resident Bakugou expert.
"He'd probably like hike better?" He said sheepishly.

"Oh! I have an idea, ribbit!" Tsuyu said, immediately getting everyone's attention.

Shouto

Bakugou noticed that something was up. How could he not, if from one day to another people started to seek out his company a lot more? If Bakugou had to pinpoint a specific time he would go as far as to say it all started in the middle of the night.

It was one of those nights, where Bakugou was unable to sleep and found Shouto in the kitchen with a cup of tea. Shouto immediately got up to make Bakugou a cup as well.
"Thanks." Bakugou nodded tiredly. It also was one of those nights, where he was just extremely tired and did not want to go out for a midnight run.

"Want to talk about it?" Shouto offered.
"It's just too fucking hot. They still haven't fixed my AC. Bakugou said annoyed.
"Oh." Shouto said. "Can't you sleep in Kirishima's room?"
"He left early to go to his parents and his door is locked. Bakugou sighed. I thought I might as well try to sleep down here."

"Would you like to sleep in my room?" Shouto asked.
"What? No. You can keep your room!"
"I don't mind. I have an extra futon."
"Why doo you have an extra futon?"

Shouto looked away for a moment.
"Do you piss your bed?" Bakugou asked, tactlessly.
"No!"Shouto glared at him. "In my sleep I...sometimes..."
"I don't want to sleep on your jizz covered futon!"
"It's not like that! I sometimes freeze up and when it melts, my futon gets wet!" Although it was hard to see in the dark, Bakugou was sure Shouto had a bright blush on his face.

"Huh." Bakugou said. "Will you freeze me if I sleep in your room?" He asked. He couldn't believe he was seriously considering this. But desperate times called for desperate solutions. The common room's couches would just leave him with tense muscles and he did not want to wake up anyone else.
"I'll try not too. It's usually just a little. I wouldn't freeze you entirely. I don't think..." Shouto said.

"Uh. Fine. I'm tired." Bakugou gave in.

Shoto rolled out his extra futon and even gave him a thin, summer blanket and a pillow. He turned his AC to Bakugou's preferred temperature and the two fell asleep peacefully, without any nightmares disturbing their sleep.

The next morning a new explosion sticker found it's way onto Shouto's poster.

Yaoyorozu

Somehow, that incident had a domino effect. Bakugou wasn't even done with breakfast, when Yaoyorozu approached him and offered to take a look at his Air conditioner.

"You know how to fix that thing?" Bakugou asked surprised.
"Well.... Maybe. For my quirk to work I not only have to know what they are made of, but also how they work and set up..." She trailed off getting quieter and quieter.

Bakugou really had no idea how she could be so self conscious. She was not only but also crazy smart.
"You can try. It's not as if trying could hurt." He said. "Just let me finish breakfast."
"Of course! Just let me know when you are ready."

As soon as both of them were done eating, they went to the boys side of the dorms. Bakugou stood back and let Yaoyorozu take the AC apart. He trusted her not to make things worse. He merely held some parts when she asked him to.

"I think I can fix it. This part needs to be replaced" She said after a while, pointing at a part. Before Bakugou could ask or say something she turned around and Bakugou knew she made the part using your quirk.
"You didn't have to waste your energy for that thing." He grumbled, but did not protest any further and let her take the broken part out.

Only a few minutes later Yaoyorozu and Bakugou put everything back together and it was time for the moment of truth. Bakugou grabbed the remote control and pressed a button. The AC worked again.

"Thanks." He told her, honestly impressed by the quick fix.
"You're welcome. I'm glad I could help. If there's ever anything else you'd like me to take a look at, just let me know." Yaoyorozu said.

Later that day she found a new explosion sticker on her poster.

Hagakure

Bakugou woke with his heart pounding fast, his eyes immediately checking his surroundings. His shirt clung to him and he immediately wiped his hands on his sheets, only to notice that they were scorched. Fuck. That had not happened in a while. Bakugou gulped nervously. It was early in the morning, but perhaps he could distract himself with making breakfast.

By the time he was done in the bathroom and dressed, he still felt somewhat anxious. The nightmare was still fresh in his mind, and it had been far too real. No wonder, since it was less of a nightmare and more of a memory. He set a pot of water on the stove to boil and turned on the extractor hood. He pulled some vegetables out of the fridge and closed it, when he suddenly felt someone touching his shoulder.

Bakugou whipped around, but there was no one in sight. Was he going crazy? He could have sword he felt someone touch him. In his shock, he had dropped the spring onions, but when he reached down to grab them, he his something. No. Not something. Someone.

"Ouch." Hagakure said, then apologized. "I'm sorry."

Bakugou was overwhelmed with relief, but only momentarily. He had no idea how long she had been here. He had not heard her at all. How could he be so absent minded? He had to be careful and more alert.

"Are you okay?" Hagakure pulled him from his thoughts.
"Why didn't you fucking say something?!" Bakugou snapped, much harsher than necessary, but he was on edge.
"You didn't react, when I spoke to you. I wasn't sure if you couldn't hear me or just ignored me."

"Yeah, well. I noticed you now."
"You are in a good mood today. Didn't sleep well?" Hagakure asked, watching as Bakugou moved to wash the vegetables.
"Fantastic." Bakugou said, sarcastically.
"Want to talk about it?"

No. Definitely not. That was Bakugou's initial feeling.

"You don't have to." Hagakure said. "Mind if I help you?"
Bakugou noticed her shirtsleeve lift up and he was sure she was gesturing to the cutting board and knife she was holding.

Bakugou moved to the side and got out a second board and knife for her. "Do you want to cut the pumpkin?"
"Sure." She said and took the offered knife. "I sometimes get nightmares too." She said quietly and Bakugou immediately tensed up. The word 'too' did not go unnoticed by him and he hated showing weakness.

"The training camp was a really scary incident. I'm glad you got back safely." She said.
Bakugou grit his teeth together, then let his shoulders fall. "Thanks."
Hagakure gave up trying to push further after that and instead started talking about random things. Bakugou appreciated her efforts and soon more and more of their classmates joined and Bakugou relaxed, being able to push his memories back.

After breakfast Hagakure found a new explosion sticker on her poster, though she wasn't quite sure what for. She only hoped, it wasn't just because she helped him make breakfast.

Ida

Accidents happen all the time in hero training. UA had Recovery Girl for a reason. She had several regular guests in her office, Midoriya being one of them. The most common wounds that happened in training were minor burns and cuts or twisted ankles and pulled muscles. Scratched knees and elbows were also a very common occurrence and generally any injury that did not have anything to do with the head or severe blood loss was dealt by teachers and students themselves.

Kaminari got a cute kitten band-aid from Aizawa just a few days ago. Bakugou did not count to the people who regularly saw Recovery Girl and he had no desire to change that. However, that was unfortunately not entirely up to him.

One moment he was high up in the air during training, the next he lay on the ground and Sato lifted a heavy piece of wall of his leg. He noticed Tsuyu, Ochako and Midoriya- shouldn't he be used to busted limbs? looking sick to their stomach. Bakugou must have blacked out a little, because next thing he knew, he was no longer on the ground. The world passed by him even though he had no idea how he was moving. He tried to sit up, but found that strong eyes held him tighter.

"Please don't move." Bakugou knew that voice. He looked up to see Ida.
"What the fuck." Bakugou whispered. "Let me down!"
"I am afraid I can't do that. You have to go to Recovery Girl immediately.
That's when Bakugou noticed the incredibly pain his leg was in.

The shock and adrenaline must have kept him from feeling it all this time, but now the pain was unbearable and he barely managed to contain his tears. An embarrassing sound left him and he dug his fingers into Ida's arm.
"We'll be right there!" Ida promised and zoomed through the corridors.

Despite the pain, Bakugou was honestly quite impressed with his class president in that moment. It was almost funny how worried he must be to break school rules just for him and was willing to run in the hallways. Finally they reached Recovery Girl's office and Ida almost crashed into the door, barely being able to stop in front of it.

"Oh no!" Recovery Girl greeted them.
Ida sat Bakugou onto one of the cots, so Recovery Girl could take a better look at the wound.
"What about you?" Bakugou asked, staring at Ida's blood covered clothes.
"Oh." Ida realized, looking down at himself. "It's not my blood."

"Sorry." Bakugou offered, a little out of it, as he looked at his own leg.
"You all really have to learn to stay safer and pay better attention! If I wasn't here, you might never walk again." She complained. "There. This should do it." She said, kissing it better. Not even five seconds later, Bakugou fell onto the cot, deep asleep.

"Is he okay?" Ida asked.
"Oh, he'll be just fine." Recovery Girl replied. "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
"No. Thank you ma’am. I will leave him in your care. Thank you very much for looking after him!" Ida excused himself, to return to the others.

When Bakugou returned to the dorms, he got one of his stickers out and stuck it to Ida's poster.

Kaminari

When Bakugou woke up in the infirmary, the first thing he did was to check his leg. He carefully moved it and much to his surprise found that it still hurt. When he confronted Recovery Girl, she told him he would heal just fine, but she refused to heal him completely because she wanted to teach him a lesson about being more careful.

Her nagging annoyed Bakugou a lot. This was nothing compared to Midoriya...or perhaps it was similar, but at least it only was one leg. He walked out of the infirmary alone, but his leg still hurt and he would have to rest it as much as possible for a couple of days. It sucked. He hated the idea of having to sit out practice.

He couldn't even sleep properly. That, coupled with the fact he could no longer do his regular stretch exercises quickly resulted in him getting a stiff neck, followed by a headache. It made him incredibly cranky, which did not go unnoticed by his classmates.

"Hey, Kacchan!" Kaminari said, flopping down on the couch next to- and unfortunately also on top of Bakugou.
"Fucking watch out!" He hissed and shoved Kaminari away.
"Shit. Sorry. You okay?"

"Fucking amazing."
"You don't sound amazing."
Bakugou rolled his eyes. How wonderful, how everyone reacted to his sarcasm. He started to see a trend.
"My fucking leg hurts, my head hurts-..."
"Does your ass hurt?"

It took Bakugou a moment to connect the seemingly random question with Kaminari's shit eating grin, but when he did, Kaminari jumped away, protecting himself with a pillow. It did not save him completely from Bakugou's wrath. Explosion's cackled and they heard Ida yelling from across the room that quirk use was not permitted indoors.

"I give! I give! I'm sorry!" Kaminari yelped and laughed. "I don't know what your deal is, it was an innocent questin!" Kaminari looked at Bakugou with puppy dog eyes and promptly was hit once more.

When Bakugou sat back down, he rolled his shoulder. Somehow he must have managed to pull something, because it felt even worse than before.
"Want me to give you a massage?" Kaminari asked, watching the motion.
Bakugou eyed him sceptically, expecting to see a teasing smirk or glint in his eyes, however Kaminari looked sincere.

Bakugou felt conflicted. A massage might be nice, but when he thought back to the last time he gave Kirishima a massage... it was a bit of an awkward thing.
"I can do e-stim." Kaminari said, holding up his hands and letting some electricity run between two fingers. He could not help but laugh at Bakugou's horrified look.

"No, no! Really. I can do it! I always do it for my grandparents. I also tried it on Sero, Kriri and Mina before."
"Well, if he tried it on all of them before, perhaps it wasn't so awkward after all.
"Fine." Bakugou said reluctantly. "Where do you want to do this?"

"Here is fine." Kaminari said. "Just lie down."
Bakugou did as told and took his shirt off in one fluid movement.
"Alright! Here I go." Kaminari declared and sat down on top of Bakugou.
"What the hell?!-"
"It's easier this way! Don't make it weird." Kaminari said and pressed Bakugou's head back down.

Only a few minutes later Bakugou had to hold back from groaning into the pillow he rested his head on. Kaminari really was good at this. A soft pat to his head made him startle and look up. Kirishima was grinning at him wildly.

"Enjoying yourself?" He asked.
Bakugou was about to find an excuse, when Kirishima continued. "He's really good at this, isn't he?"
"Awww. You're too nice, bro!" Kaminari said from atop of Bakugou.
"Just the truth." Sero said and when Bakugou looked around some more he noticed that the common room was no longer as empty as it had been. They should have went to one of their rooms. Having an audience for this had not been his plan.

"Well, if the hero thing doesn't work out, I guess I'll just become a masseur." Kaminari shrugged and got off of Bakugou. "Let me know if you ever want another massage. Salon de Kaminari is always open for you."
"Yeah. Thanks." Bakugou said, as he pulled his shirt back on.

Kaminari had definitely earned himself a sticker for this.

-----.....-----.....-----.....-----

Mina

Bakugou felt so good after Kaminari's massage, that he was perfectly happy to just sit on the couch, preferably with Kirishima directly next to him, and do absolutely nothing. However, Mina had slightly different plans.
"Okay Blasty, sit up for a moment." She ordered.

Bakugou opened his eyes, but did nothing to change his slouched posture.
"What do you want?"
"Just a simple nice home-spa treatment." She said, holding up a variety of facemasks.
"Ughhhh...knock yourself out." Bakugou allowed. But still didn't move.

"Hmm. Okay. I can work with this." She decided. "Kaminari, Sero, you in?" She asked. Before she was done talking the two sat next to Kirishima, eagerly awaiting their masks.
"Oh, so you really all want me to do the work. Fine, have it your way." She said.

Mina went to the kitchen to fill a bowl with warm water and dipped a wash cloth in. Her first victim was Bakugou, who refused to open his eyes and therefor had no idea she was coming for him. As soon as the washcloth met his face he pushed to the side and grabbed her wrist, while the rest- even his boyfriend laughed.

"Fucking traitor. Why didn't you stop her?" He asked the redhead.
"I warned you." Mina said. "But you can wash it yourself and then put this on." She said, handing him one of the face masks. Then she turned to the other three boys. "And what are you three waiting for? Get going, or do you want me to wash you too?"
The three hastily got up and headed for the bathroom, while Bakugou put on the facemask and leaned back again.

"Can I do your nails?" Mina asked.
"You mean paint them?"
"Only if you want to. Otherwise I'll just file them down."
"You can paint them if you want to." Bakugou decided. "As long as you won't paint flowers or something on them."
"I can paint them black?" Mina suggested.

"What will you paint black?" Sero asked, as he jumped over the couch and flopped down next to Bakugou.
"Nuh-uh. Move your ass." Bakugou immediately said.
"Gotta make space for the boyfriend's ass." Kaminari said and sat down at the other end of the couch.

Kirishima squished himself next to Bakugou and Mina grabbed the blonde's hands, to file the nails down. Bakugou had to admit, that this treatment wasn't so bad either. Mina knew what she was doing. If Kaminari opened a massage saloon, Mina could definitely join him. The thought made him snort, which made four pairs of curious eyes look at him.

"What's going on?" Kirishima asked.
"Nothing."
"Really?"
"Just thought, how Mina should join Denki if he opens his massage place."

"Awwwww! Blasty! That might be the nicest thing you've ever said to me!" Mina gushed, painting all over Bakugou's finger.
"I take it back." Bakugou said drily, looking at the black nail polish sticking to his skin.
"NOOOO! I'll fix it! I promise! Here, look! And it's gone. Just a quick wipe and everything's fixed." She said.

"I'd love if you worked in my salon!" Kaminari said. "Sero can work the reception, Bakugou will manage us and Kiri will be our bodyguard!"
"The fuck would you need a bodyguard for?" Bakugou asked, but the others already were overjoyed with the idea and contributed their own suggestions to the business.

Bakugou could easily forgive Mina's small mishap and the rowdiness that followed. Afterall, it was kind of his fault. He happily stuck a new sticker to her poster.

-----.....-----.....-----.....-----

Sero

Sero was a friendly guy by principal and he got along with Bakugou very well. Sure, he liked to tease the other and rile Bakugou up, but he also knew that the blond did not truly mind his antics. In fact, if he stopped it would just be weird, just like it had been strange to have Bakugou call them by their names. Luckily Bakugou went back to calling them stupid nicknames after Kaminari yelled at him in frustration.

Sero had a few stickers from Bakugou already, but just like most of the others, he earned his by cleaning or cooking. It was time to step up his game. First, he had to take into consideration what Bakugou liked. Hiking and cooking immediately came to mind, as well as training and perhaps even studying. It became clear to Sero, that he had the chance to broaden Bakugou's horizon. Popculture had to count as something worth knowing.

When Sero went home over the weekend, he checked his bookshelves, for something Bakugou might like. He knew Bakugou barely read any manga, but that could change if he presented the blonde with the right series. Making a decision was tough. In the end, Sero have in and texted Tokoyami. Tokoyami had a similar taste in Music as Bakugou, so perhaps he had some decent idea.

In the end, Sero took an entire extra suitcase with him, because Tokoyami and Shouto wanted to read some as well. Now all Sero had to do was to wait for the right moment to approach Bakugou. The moment came, when Bakugou was sitting in the common room on the couch, peacefully scrolling through his phone. He was most likely waiting for the rest of the Bakusquad to come down for their movie night. Sero arrived first, holding a bag with Manga.

"Where are the others?" Bakugou asked, as Sero sat down next to him.
"Still finishing their report, I guess." Sero shrugged.
"Are you done?"
"Yep. Just finished. Which is why I came down here to give these to you." Sero held up his bag.

"What's in there?" Bakugou asked suspiciously.
"Manga, I thought you might like." Sero said, as he pulled the top two out. "If you don't like them that's fine. You don't have to read them. If you like them though, I have more volumes you can borrow." Sero rambled on, as Bakugou took the two Manga to look at them closer.

"I think icy-hot mentioned this one before." Bakugou said.
"Is that good or bad?" Sero asked. It had in fact been Shouto's suggestion to include that specific novel.
"I'll have to read to find out I guess. Thanks." Bakugou said, putting the one volume back in the bag, while keeping the other out to start reading until the others came down to join them.

By the end of the day, Sero found a new explosion sticker on his poster.

Notes:

Thank you for reading as well as all of your comments and kudos. They truly cheer me up :D

What did you think of this chapter? Do you want the rest all in one big chunk, or would you prefer two parts? Personally I think three parts would be nice, (not because I want to click bait you, but because I think it would fit better^^) but I'll post the rest in one go if you prefer :)
Would you like the next part(s) as chapters of this, or as extra stories?

If you are interested in an EraserMic fic (with darker themes than this series), I just posted a new series Bounty Hunter in the Shadows :)
