Her face is bright red, the bitter taste of wine still lingers in her throat, even though right now is winter already, she still feels so hot.
While staring at her friends chatting and bickering (probably Jiho and Yeo Ryeong the most) and either nodding or answering their questions, she stays out of their conversation most of the time.
Thinking back about those incidents that happened in this world, and how she decided to stay here, instead of going back to her ‘real’ world, where nobody has a different color of hair nor has too much talent to the point it seems like they are unreal.
It is unbelievable, and the most unrealistic thing is that her relationship with Yeo Dan is still the same, dating.
Dating. With the heroine’s brother.
When they were still at school, years ago, her anxious feelings always eat her up as she comes across the other dimension that brings her back to her old world.
She is scared to come too close with someone because the more she is used to them, the more she will be hurtful since Dan-I still unsure that she would disappear in this world, left no traits that remind everyone in this world that there used to be a girl name Ham Dan-I exist. And only she would remember them, and hurt because she gets too used to them.
Back then, she thought it is impossible for her to love anybody, especially if they are in the main characters such as the Four Heavenly Kings.
But when the heroine’s brother, Ban Yeo Dan confessed to her, he made her feel like for the first time, she could be loved by someone and to love someone.
Her lover, her boyfriend, her first love, Ban Yeo Dan.
Their love begins with something that sounds like a plot of a romance novel, where the female lead would help the male lead to get away from his fans by fake dating him. Then both of them realized their feelings for each other and started real dating later on.
The different thing here is that Yeo Dan is not a male lead in the novel in the first place.
One of the reasons where she feels it is fine to date Yeo Dan is because even if he is Ban Yeo Ryeong’s brother, he does not have too much screen time and chances to appear in the novel, since this is a school life romance novel. In which it would be more likely for the story to happen at school. Meanwhile the female lead’s brother - Yeo Dan - went to his school.
Yeo Dan feels like he is real, for her.
And she fell in love, with the taste of chocolate milk that he brought her, with the warmth of their hugs, with kisses on her cheeks and her lips, with his gentle eyes, his jealousness.
Oh, and how can’t she forget his appearances of half-naked two times in front of her? His perfect and manly body, the clear line and shape of his abs, still stay in her head clearly as if it was yesterday.
Without any hesitation, and with her suddenly braveness (is it because of alcohol?).
“Oppa…”
It’s so strange how the loud noises immediately stop after her small voice calling for Yeo Dan.
Her boyfriend turned around, his dark violet eyes stare straight into her eyes. Unlike her, who already drunk, Yeo Dan still has his normal calm expression.
Out of nowhere, she said.
“Do you love me?” He froze. Everybody silent.
“...Yes.” Yeo Dan sat down, instead of letting her hand that currently holding on his shirt fall, he took it and hold her hand tightly.
“But sometimes I hate it so much…”
Dan-I couldn’t control what she says anymore, her mind went blank, and she decided to say whatever comes to her mind first. The silent atmosphere broke as Ban Yeo Ryeong chokes and laugh. Yeo Dan’s face went black (it is rare to see him showed such expression) and his friends laughing from behind his back.
“Oh god, your girlfriend hates you, Yeo Dan-ah, haha.”
“Just break up with him, let me take care of you.”
Yeo Ryeong embraced her best friend’s back from behind and confessed, take no notice of her brother’s face twitched slightly.
“Why do you hate me?... Did I do something wrong?”
Yeo Dan is oblivious as if there is no one there teasing him or wanting to take his girlfriend away (ahem, a lot of them for example). His gaze now all focus on Dan-I’s face.
“Because you are so handsome…”
How ridiculous it would be if someone is able to take a photo of the Four Heavenly Kings’ face and their goddess’s face, Ban Yeo Ryeong at that moment and spreading them. The dark aura around Yeo Dan disappears, the only thing left is his shocked expression.
“I’m jealous. Because you have too many sisters falling for you and even though you are my lover, they are too good looking for me to not be afraid if one day someone will take you away from me, oppa…”
“Dan-ah---” Yeo Ryeong can’t believe this is her best friend, who would not reveal too much of herself unless she is feeling down too much.
“I love you, a lot, Yeo Dan oppa…”
Dan-I seemed to forget the fact that they are outside, that her friends and Yeo Dan’s friends are here, and leaning close to his face.
His trembling breath, his warmth, his kissable lips, and how he squeezes Dan-I’s hand.
“Dan---!”
Before he could say anything, her soft lips pressed against his lips, make all of the words that haven’t say yet flow back into his throat. This Dan-I is so different, she bravely biting his lower lip, the soft feeling of her against his mouth.
He could feel how her hands trailing up to his shoulder and draped both arms around his neck. Losing awareness of their surroundings, Yeo Dan kiss back at her, wet tongue spread the opposite person’s lips and enters her mouth.
Yeo Dan even tightens their lips as Dan-I make a throaty sound, moaning and squeeze her arms around his next tighter.
Heat rose from Dan-I’s stomach to her chest. The rough side of Yeo Dan that he barely shows throughout their whole time dating, he did show some emotion such as getting jealous when somebody gets too close with her but never expressing this way.
Her stomach twisting in a knot, it’s too much, for Dan-I to feel for the first time in her life.
Their kisses usually sweet, and gentle. But it only happened like a peck or just lips against lips for a long time, they never use anything such as… tongue.
Her toes curled, time seems to stop as she pulled out her lips and then continue to steal each other’s breath. Dan-I’s knees gave in, but the feeling of braveness make her pushed her lover to the wall behind them, climb on his laps and kiss him again and again.
Yeo Dan doesn’t seem to mind, as their lips are in perfect sync again, he closes his eyes, ignores the noises people making around them, and gives all his attention to how smooth her skin feels on him, calm sense come from her body.
Dan-I wears a skirt today (thanks to his little sister, who whining and finally manage to convince Dan-I to wear it), black tight socks that high enough to cover her knees, and with the position they are in right now, her bare thighs are also clutching his waist and she sitting on his laps.
If they notice their surroundings, Yeo Ryeong and Joo In already become red as a tomato, even their ears became sensitive as the wet noises of the two made. Yeo Dan’s friends are different, instead of embarrassed, they pulled out their phone and recording. Happily, as they knew that tomorrow, this could be used as an invisible weapon to tease the guy.
Eun Hyung kindly looks away, his expression is still calm and smiling. Jiho and Chun Young are speechless, all of them look away. Even though their chest feels like it going to burst, nobody said or express anything about it.
Until a voice cut the atmosphere as Dan-I’s hands about to move to the inside of Yeo Dan’s shirt.
“CUT IT OUT! We are outside right now love birds!”
