The children are about to discuss the escape plan, but as they run inside the forest, Emma, Ray, Gilda, and Don disappears into thin air. After hours, the 4 ended up in a completely different world, separated from each other.

"Hey kid, are you okay?"
Emma opens her eyes and quickly sits up. She found herself in a white room, it almost looks like a hospital. Then, she sees a figure in front of her. "W-who are you?!" the ginger yelled, the woman in front of her sighed "I'm Yosano Akiko, what's your name?" Yosano asked. "I'm Emma..." the young girl trailed off, "Only Emma? No last name?" the doctor raised an eyebrow.
"I Uhm...Emma...Gracefield?" Emma stuttered. 'Yeah that might be a good name!' she smiled to herself.
"Pardon?" the woman questioned.
"It's Emma Gracefield!" the ginger smiled.
Yosano finds that name a bit strange, it sounds foreign. "Well, Emma, eat up, when you're feeling better meet me and the others in the office room" she gives the girl a bowl of food. Emma stares at Yosano as she walks out of the room, 'Is this a trap? Is she a Mama or Sister? Am I gonna get killed?!' Lots of thought floods inside the girl's brain. But since she's hungry, she eats up anyway.
Surprisingly, the food is good. After cleaning up, Emma walks out of the infirmary and went to the office Yosano told her before. When she opens the door, her eyes widened. There are people! Male even. All she knows is that only females can live but as a caretaker. "Uh...Yosano-san?" the young ginger called, the woman turns her head at her "Oh Emma, you're here" she greeted.
"Yosano-sensei, who is that girl?" A boy with greyish hair asked.
"A kid pass out on the floor when I was about to leave the infirmary, I didn't know how she got here, but I think it's an ability" the woman explains.
"An ability?" Emma tilts her head.
"Oh, about that! In here, there's a small majority of people who're gifted, they're called ability users. The Detective Agency members are one of them!" the grey-haired boy smiled. "Do you have one?" he added.
"Uhm...ability huh?" the ginger trailed off. 'Ability...ability? Think of something you can do-oh yeah!' Emma snaps out of her thought. "Uh, I have great physical strength!" she blurted.
"Heh? That's interesting! I have one, too" A boy with blonde hair raises his arm.
"Oooh!" Emma smiled.
Not long after that, the other Agency members gathered inside the office. They also introduce themselves to Emma, and also their abilities. The young ginger found the place interesting and trustable, so she also shares some things about her life inside the Gracefield House and how it's actually a Farm. With Fukuzawa's permission, she's also allowed to stay for some time.
But then, it didn't last very long before most of them have to go for missions. Except for this one guy, she never saw before. But he seems friendly so she walks closer towards him. "Uh...Mister?" she slowly called, the brunette turns his gaze at her, then quickly puts away his headphone. "Oh hello there! Is there anything you need?" he said kindly.
"I'm Emma, what's your name? I've never seen you before, so I thought maybe we can chat for a little bit...The others seem to leave" the ginger smiled bitterly.
The figure sits down and told the girl to sit beside him. "I'm Dazai, Dazai Osamu. Soooo, what you wanna chat about?" he introduces. "Hey, Dazai-san? Do you have an old friend(s)?" she asked. Dazai's expression turns into a sad smile, "I do...though, I don't think I might be able to meet up and chat around with them like before" he closed his eyes.
Emma figured something bad must've happened to them. "Me too, actually..." she said softly, the brunette turns to her "What happened to them?" he asked. "Right before I got here, I lived in an Orphanage, well...not really an orphanage, it's more like a farm. They raised us only to be eaten by Demons. I was one of those kids, and my family, too! My brothers, sisters, siblings" she stated.
"I was super close with two of my brothers, we are the oldest kids in there. Since we're shipped out at the age of 12. Me, and one of my brother, Ray, manage to escape that night. But Norman sacrifices himself for us...he died" Emma looks down.
Dazai knows that feeling, the despair of losing someone you loved, the sorrow of losing someone who's dear to you. "At least you still have Ray, don't you?" Dazai smiled, "He's a traitor" the ginger quickly cuts in. Making Dazai widened his eyes, "He betrays us..." she said quietly, "I don't want to blame him, I still love him! But it just...I don't know..." Emma looks away.
"Emma, I know this sounds crazy but...I also have friends as that" Dazai stated.
The young ginger turns her head at him, "What?" she manages to whisper. "We used to hang out together...meeting at a bar, and joking around" the brunette recalls, "We're best friends" he added. "Just like you, Ango betrays us as a spy, and Odasaku died fighting an enemy" Dazai explained. "Dazai-san..." the girl called, "Hm?" "Do you want to know how my sibling looks like? Maybe the Agency could help me search for them" she questioned.
The brunette nodded, Emma smiled at pull out the picture of her, Ray, and Norman together from her pocket. When she shows the picture, Dazai sees the reflection of him, Ango, and Odasaku inside the Lupin Bar. "I'm glad someone actually understands how I feel" Emma smiled, "The same goes thing for me" Dazai chuckled.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot, this is Don and Gilda" she pulls out another picture.
"Heh?"

Kunikida is so done with almost everything in life, first, he's late for the train, and now, he's lost with a 10-years-old girl. "Kunikida-san, are you sure we're going on the right path?" Gilda questioned. "It's okay Gilda, I got this. My job right now is to go back to the Agency, according to my schedule, we have time" the ash-blonde male stated seriously.
Gilda didn't know whether she should feel bad or anything, because that man saves her from another man, on the other hand, she didn't know what's the man's true intentions are.
"Kunikida-san?" the green-haired girl called.
"What is it?" Kunikida responded.
"How's the Agency look like?" Gilda asked.
"Chaos...But overall people there are great! Except maybe for one reckless bandage-wasting vagabond" he even got pissed only by saying his name.
"Eh?" Gilda sweatdropped.
"Gilda, Do you have anyone close to you back at the Orphanage?" the ash-blonde male asked.
The girl looks down, "I do! She's quite reckless, too" she answered. "I see..." Kunikida push up his glasses. "Her name's Emma when we planned out our escape, she demands on taking everyone. It's a bit crazy, I know, even Ray disagrees. But it's a sign she truly cares about us" Gilda forms a small smile. "Dazai, too. He joins the enemy group in order to save our city" the ash-blonde male sighed.
Gilda is amazed, "Sacrificing himself, huh?" she muttered. "Yeah, but at least he's trusted. That vagabond is actually smart" Kunikida commented, "I see" Gilda murmured. "We're here" the older man points to a red-brick building, "This is the Agency?" the green-haired girl questioned. "Yes, it is. Let me show you the entrance" the girl follows Kunikida to the door and went upstairs.
As Kunikida opened the Agency door, Dazai and Emma are about to eat a ramen cup.

"DAZAI! WHO IS THAT GIRL?!" He strangles the brunette.
"Calm down, Kunikida-kun~. You see, that's-"
"Emma!" Gilda yelled.
"Gilda! You're here!" Emma immediately place the ramen away and hugged her.
Dazai is not surprised to see the two cried in each other arms. "Emma! Where have you been?! You suddenly vanish into thin air while we're inside the forest!" the green-haired girl yelled. "I don't know what happened..." the ginger murmured, "I suddenly wake up here, in there" she points at the infirmary. "Oh," Gilda looks away, "Gilda, have you seen the others?" Emma asked.
The younger girl shakes her head, "I haven't you're the first one I found" she answered. "Well then, let us help!" Dazai winks, "Come on Kunikida-kun~ we gotta show them how superior we are!" he whined. "That's unnecessary you stupid bandage-wasting-device!" the ash-blonde male scold, "Fine..." the male with glasses let go of Dazai and let him fall to the ground harshly.
The brunette didn't stay quiet, though. "That hurts!" he complains. "Shut up! Have you done any work today?" Kunikida raised an eyebrow.
"Of course!"
"Really?-"
"Not..." Dazai forms a grin.
Kunikida is about to choke him again, when Emma interrupted "So, what are we going to do next?" she questioned. "Let's focus on finding your friends, first. And on the way, we'll have you look through Yokohama!" the brunette raised one finger. "I can ask Kunikida-Kun to treat you guys some snacks~" he glances at his co-worker, who's literally burning with fire right now.
"For real?! We can go around the city?" Gilda asks in disbelief.
"Of course! Right, Kuniki-"
"STOP WASTING MY MONEY, DAZAI OSAMU!" he yelled, making Emma and Gilda finched.
