Summary
Like tonight. When he's drowning deeper and deeper and his lungs are filling up and he can't breathe but there's no one to save him. When he's screaming and screaming until his throat's raw and bloody and he can't make any more noise but there's no one to hear him. When he just wants to die if only so he can take a moment to stop and figure things out so he doesn't feel so damn lost all the time.
Noct is having a bad day, and seeks release in the only coping method he knows. Just a few cuts, and then he'll feel better. That's how it always works.
But then Ignis shows up. And what started out bad quickly becomes worse. Until it doesn't. Because Ignis' reaction isn't what he expected, and Noct learns that his boyfriend accepts him no matter what.
