Summary
In mathematics and physics, the butterfly effect is a term that encapsulates the more technical notion of sensitive dependence on initial conditions found in chaos theory. The idea is that small variations in initial conditions produce large variations in the long-term behaviour of a system.
It is an ordinary autumn day when a little girl named El appears to Crowley and Aziraphale. The two do not yet know how much she will change their lives. Or how much they will change hers.
The butterfly that unleashes the storm with the beating of its wings. -
