All I want is You
A sweet morning come, the sun shines through the window in a room on the Wangshu Inn. Lumine opened her eyes and yawning. The first view of her morning is something she likes, a view of Xiao sleeping peacefully beside her. She moved herself closer to him, giving him some teasing kisses on his face once she is fully awake. They had been dating for a while now, and Lumine still in love with his peaceful sleeping face. It did not take long for Xiao to open his eyes from Lumine’s interruption on his peaceful sleep. Ever since Lumine is around, his sleep never been so peaceful. He groaned softly before he captured the woman he loved in his embrace for her teases.
“You really had no respect to an adeptus.” Xiao said jokingly before he nuzzled her. Lumine laugh softly.
“Good morning, Xiao. Seriously? You still use that joke.” Lumine smiled. She gave her last kiss for him to his lips. Xiao happily accepting her kiss before he broke it.
“You still laugh at the joke anyway.” Xiao shrugged. A small smile appeared on his lips, a smile that always melted Lumine’s heart and made her heart flutter.
“Well that’s right, maybe because I love you enough to laugh at the same joke.” The female traveler grinned. Xiao’s face turned a bit red hearing her remark. Though they had been dating for a while, sometimes her words still made him like they just dated.
“Lumine… really…” The adeptus smiled again before he pulled her closer. Now it’s his time for a revenge, he gave Lumine’s face small kisses. She only giggled.
“Ah anyway, your birthday is tomorrow, Xiao. What do you want?” Lumine asked. She thought that she wanted to give a chance for him saying what he wanted for his birthday rather than preparing for a surprise.
“You.” He answered softly before landing a kiss on the top of her nose. Lumine stared at him blankly before her face turned red.
“Xiao, be serious!” Lumine said embarrassingly while pushing him. But Xiao giving her a small smug smile instead.
“But I only want you…” Xiao shrugged.
“Xiao!”

“Did I told you to say my name when you need help? Don’t be stubborn.” Xiao popped out of nowhere before dealing the last blow to a mitachurl who just attacked Lumine. He is glad that he is around or else his favorite person would’ve get hurt.
“I’m sorry, Xiao. I overestimated my own power.” Lumine said, panting. The commission kind of tiring her and she is glad that he came to rescue her. Xiao walked to her after that to give her a hug and making sure she is okay.
“Are you hurt somewhere?” The adeptus asked gently. She only shook her head slowly.
“I’m fine, Xiao. It’s okay.” The traveler smiled. She hugged him and kissed his cheek to assure her that she is completely fine.
“Don’t hurt yourself again, I can always help you.” Xiao sighed. He released the hug and Lumine is staring at him.
“I’m not going to die just like that, Xiao. Don’t worry, okay?” Lumine smiled. Xiao now looking at her again before he cupped her cheeks.
“You keep pushing yourself and I don’t like that.” The adeptus said. The traveler blinked, she is happy that he is worrying her yet she did not want him to be worry about her.
“I’m so sorry about that but I’ll be fine, Xiao. I don’t get hurt that easy. Beside, it’s not like I’m going to die from it and I don’t want to die that soon because tomorrow is your birthday.” Lumine smiled.
“Well, that’s the spirit. Don’t get hurt, okay?” Xiao nodded. He released her after that.
“So what do you want for your birthday tomorrow, Xiao?” Lumine asked curiously.
“You.”

Another morning and today is Xiao’s birthday. Since Xiao keep not saying what he wanted, Lumine decided to just prepare him some food. She woke up earlier than she used to do, preparing some breakfast for Xiao. Probably a breakfast in bed during his birthday is going to be romantic, Lumine thought. She is trying to be careful not to wake Xiao up from his sleep to make the preparation.
After the preparation is done, Lumine come back to his room with a plate of almond tofu in her hand. She knew that he won’t want to eat anything else other than almond tofu though it feels weird to have almond tofu for breakfast. And when Lumine entered his room, he can see his confused face. Maybe he is looking for her and wondering why she is not around.
“Happy birthday, Xiao! I made you some almond tofu for breakfast, I thought it would be cute!” Lumine said happily. The adeptus seemed surprised yet he smiled at her.
“Did I told you that I only want you today?” Xiao asked but he accepted the almond tofu from her anyway. Lumine is happy to see Xiao enjoying the almond tofu she put her heart to cook it.
“Yes but, a breakfast wouldn’t hurt. Also, you seemed happy about it anyway.” Lumine grinned. She took a seat beside him, watching him eating the almond tofu.
“Of course I am, I could never not feeling happy when you’re around.” Xiao mumbled softly before taking his last piece of almond tofu to his mouth. Lumine is watching him and smile.
“Anyway, what do you mean you want me for your birthday?” Lumine tilted her head. After setting his plate aside, Xiao grabbed her hand gently while his eyes is looking at her.
“Huh?” She is confused by his action. Though Lumine is ready to have whatever he wanted for his birthday, she still feels like her heart is going to burst anytime soon.
“Lumine… I—we had been together for a pretty long time. I’ve made a decision, I think I should do…” Xiao mumbled. His heart is beating so fast that he started to lose his own words. His eyes kept looking at hers deeply.
“What do you mean?” Lumine blinked. Is he wanted them to go separate way or the other way around? She didn’t understand at all.
“I’m proposing a contract with you. Let’s bound ourselves with a marriage contract, Lumine. Will you marry me?” Xiao didn’t kneel at all. He only took her hand and putting a ring with a cor lapis on it. Looked like the ring is handmade, Lumine thought as she is looking at the ring on her finger.
“Xiao… for Archon sake of course yes. You scared me, I thought you want a break up!” Lumine burst before she hugged him. She forgot about the ring on her hand, she just wanted to hug him close.
“I’m sorry if it sounded like that…” Xiao apologized. He hugged her back while his hand is caressing his back gently.
“I’m glad you say yes… and by that mean I want you, this is what I mean.” Xiao said again, he moved closer to her to give her a kiss on her forehead. Now Xiao didn’t have to worry about losing her, after all now she is completely his and his only.
