Summary
Marcel had not noticed when Colt opened his eyes again to gaze at up him - he’d been absently wiping the wash cloth across the younger man’s jaw one last time before deeming his work done. He was lost in a daydream of Porco, and was taken by total surprise when Colt reached up to him to gently hold his face with bloody hands. Marcel’s eyes widened as he stared down at the other man, but he did not pull away - this is how he’d wanted, no, needed, Porco to touch him that morning, “Colt—” The words died in the air as soft lips pressed against his in a meek kiss. Colt closed the space between them as he rose to his feet, cupping Marcel’s face so gently as he kissed him just as softly.

Despite Marcel's attempts to keep Porco off of the battlefield, his brother has been shipped off to Paradis for the first attempt at reclaiming the Founding Titan with the other Warriors. He is inconsolable, and the train ride home, as well as the years' long absence of his brother wears on him - mind, body, and soul. Yet, he soon finds solace in another man, and must overcome his own conflicting feelings as he waits for Porco's return.
