Sometimes having a soulmate bond was great. Marinette and Jason could help each other in battle, and they were an unstoppable force when they were working a case together. However! Sometimes, the soulmate bond was Annoying as hell and Marinette couldn’t get Jason to Shut Up!
‘Miraculous , simply the best!’ her soulmate had been singing the song for three. hours. straight.
‘I swear to all the gods in the universe if you don’t stop I am going to kill you ’ Marinette had reached her tipping point and was now yelling at her idiot boyfriend,
But he just kept singing. To make matters worse, he knew her threats were empty, she was stuck in a board meeting and he was supposed to be entertaining her, not driving her mad.
“I’m sorry, Ms. Dupain-Cheng did you want to add something?” Mr. Willis looked at her and she sent back a pleasant smile.
“Just that we really should be focusing on this quarter right now and not next quarter. There is still a lot to be done, and by looking to the future we are missing out on an entire bracket.”
‘Nice cover babe’
‘Don’t babe me. I’m still pissed at you.’
‘You love me.’
‘I don’t know that I do right now.’
Jason started sending images of their night before and she flushed red. He knew exactly what he was doing and she really was going to kill him. She stood up and looked at the board. “My apologies, there is an emergency at home and I need to get there right away.”
‘Emergency, right’
Adrien gave her a look and she shook her head slightly then tapped her temple letting him know it was just Jason being an ass.
“I do apologize, Adrien will take notes for me though.” She barely heard the pleasantries from the rest of the board members as she was out of the meeting room door faster than anyone usually saw her walk. Her idiot boyfriend may be an ass, but he was about to get what he wanted, her home in his arms.
