   Summary

   Osamu Dazai has always been one step ahead, ever since he was a little toddler and scamming his relatives with grabby hands into buying him all the sweets he could dream of. Some say it's a natural gift, others now refer to it as a crippling cynicality with age. Either way, the boy isn't willing to go a little out of his way to get a job done. Practical jokes, in particular, tend to hold the highest position amongst this willingness.

   But then he runs into the prettiest (and only) copy machine abuser he's ever laid eyes on in the midst of debatably the largest white lie he's ever stuck with.

   And suddenly, practical jokes have been taken down a peg.
