Work Text:

"Jack, have you seen my blender?" Ianto called across the flat.
- "No?" he replied with his mouth full. "You're the one who knows where everything is."
- "Grave?"
- "How would I know? I lose my own stuff at the Hub constantly," he replied as he arrived next to Ianto.
- "You were baking here two hours ago," Ianto said.
- "I didn't use the blender."
Jack looked at the cupboard from over Ianto's shoulder. Sure enough, there was an empty space where the blender used to be stored. He took another bite of his slice of chocolate cake.
"You're gonna have to admit that you're getting old and starting to lose things," he laughed.
- "Jack, I am twenty-five years old," Ianto said, rolling his eyes.
- "What did you need the blender for anyway?" asked Grave.
- "I was going to make soup," said Ianto, looking down at the ingredients laid out on the counter. "Today is lemon and lavender."
- "Wouldn't that be juice, rather than soup?" said Jack, earning a glare from Ianto.
- "I'm sure we'll find your blender eventually. Or we can just, I don't know, buy a new one or something if we really don't."
Ianto nodded sadly.

"Owen!" called Tosh as she entered the Hub. "Remember the time Ianto brought soup and made us taste it?"
- "Never having to do this again might be one of the only advantages of being dead."
- "Well," she slammed the blender down on the autopsy table, "I need your help hiding this."
- "Why would I help? I wouldn't be able to eat his soup even if I wanted to."
- "Come on, Owen. Your flat is the only place where Ianto never goes — you didn't start inviting him over, right?"
- "No! Tea Boy has no business in my flat."
- "Good! Then help Gwen and I out. Please."
He sighed. "Fine. But you two owe me."
- "Thanks, Owen," she smiled.
