Summary
The Yukon. Up north - the vast, uncharted wilderness where even the maps didn't go beyond. That's exactly where Inuyasha was headed, just as many others had come and failed, in search of a dream. A dream of gold.
For a hanyou like him, gold meant freedom. Being able to do whatever he wanted, regardless of his heritage. But he realizes once he gets to Dawson that finding it is not going to be easy.
It is there he meets a fellow miner named Souta, and together they set off on an adventure of a lifetime, seeking out the legendary River of Gold in the vast wilderness, and the perils and wonders such a trip can bring, and how close it can bring two people together, and that perhaps Souta isn't entirely who he appears to be.
