Will was poking at Nico’s cheeks as he begged for the millionth time that day, “Love, please, please, please, please.”
Nico glared at his boyfriend, “You really aren’t gonna stop, are you?”
Will smiled smugly, “Oh you know me.”
Nico sighed as he muttered, “How did I even end up dating you?”
Will dramatically grabbed his chest with a gasp, “Ouch, that’s gonna leave a mark.”
Nico rolled his eyes, “Oh, shut up drama queen.”
Will then pouted at Nico, “You told me to introduce you to modern stuff, this is part of modern stuff!”
Nico sighed as he saw that adorable pout on Will’s face, but he isn’t about to give in just yet, “I’m not a kid, Will! Disney is for children!”
Will chuckled, “Oh love, but not all of Disney is for kids, I know some Disney Original Movies that are for young adults, and you are a young adult.”
Nico crossed his arms, “Give me another reason why I should agree.”
Will smirked, “Well, we would be watching the whole day, at your cabin, just you and me. No training, or infirmary shifts, you get me for a whole day.” He then winked at Nico.
Nico has to admit that was really tempting, it’s been a while since he got any alone time with Will, “Ugh, fine.”
Will squealed involuntarily, “I’ll see you tomorrow at your cabin after breakfast. I’ll bring as much movies as I can, and maybe some chips and popcorn too!”
Nico can’t help but smile at his boyfriend’s excitement.
--- The Next Day ---
There was a knock at the Hades cabin around 8am, and before even opening the door, Nico already knew that it was Will. Nico rolled his eyes, “Can’t wait for after breakfast, huh?”
Will was standing with a paper bag on one hand and a plate of pancakes on the other. Will gave him one of the brightest smiles. “Nope, but I brought you pancakes, and the movies! You can eat here as I prepare our movie schedule.”
Nico grabbed for the pancakes then began eating as he saw Will arrange a variety of discs on the floor. Nico swallowed the pancake in his mouth as he asked, “Wow, that sure is a lot, looks like we’ll be here for quite some time.”
Will hummed, “17 hours and 25 minutes, including the credits so it’s probably less.”
Nico coughed at his food, “At this pace we’ll finish at 1 am!”
Will chuckled, “Oh believe me, it would all be worth it.”
Nico sighed as he muttered, “What did I get myself into?”
Will smiled at him, “I brought us some food, both meals and chips to last the day.”
Nico rolled his eyes, “I don’t expect less from you.”
Will then glanced at the movies then hummed in satisfaction, “I think we're all set.” He reached for the DVD player my dad got me, “May I?”
I shrugged, “Go ahead, let’s just get this over with.”
Will nodded then put a disc in, “First, the High School Musical Trilogy.”
“Sounds cheesy.”
“Oh, shut up and watch.”
“Fine.”
Will and Nico sat on the couch. Will had an arm around Nico as Nico laid his head on Will’s shoulder. Half way through the first movie was when Nico commented, “Okay, this isn’t that bad.”
Will smiled, “Glad you’re enjoying it.”
Nico rolled his eyes then smirked, “I think Troy is hot.”
Will narrowed his eyes at Nico, “Are you trying to give me a reason to get jealous?”
Nico can’t help but smile, “He just reminds me of you, you know? So persistent about what he wants and the people he loves.”
Will blushed at this then chuckled, “Let’s continue watching then.”
Nico let out a laugh then continued to watch. The 2nd movie played, he rolled his eyes at Sharpay;s shenanigans, “Why is she being such a bitch?”
Will chuckled, “Love, language.”
Nico shrugged, “I feel sorry for Ryan though. I can tell that he's a nice guy, just overshadowed and bossed around by Sharpay.”
Will smiled at his boyfriend, “Yeah, he’s a really nice character.”
Nico nodded, “He’s my favorite.”
Will chuckled, “Oh?”
Nico smiled, “Yeah, does he end up with someone in the end?”
Will smirked, “You’ll have to wait and see.”
Nico shrugged then focused on the movie again. The 2nd movie ended then the 3rd started. Nico smirked at his boyfriend, “It’s a surprise you haven’t sang with the songs.”
Will sighed, “I have a terrible voice, plus, you might stop watching with me if I do.”
Nico rolled his eyes, “Your voice isn’t as terrible as you think, but you’re right. If you started to dance and sing, I might as well run away.”
Will nodded with a laugh then the two continued watching. At the scene where Ryan asked Kelsi to the prom, Nico gasped, “Oh my gods, such innocence in this ship.”
Will chuckled, “Someone’s enjoying.”
Nico glared at him, “Oh shut it.”
After the 3rd movie, the screen went blank, and Nico smiled at his boyfriend, “Oh gods, that was good! What else do you have there?” Nico can feel his old ten year old self creeping into him.
Will chuckled, “Let’s go for Camp Rock next.” He replaced the disc. He then grabbed some chips from his bag then threw it at Nico, “Go eat up. This is the only time I’m allowing junk food.”
Nico happily obliged as he opened the bag of chips. Beside him, Will opened a bag of popcorns. They ate as the movie progressed.
Nico looked at the screen disgust, “How is she lying this much? I know she wants to keep a good reputation, but still.”
Will sighed, “Yeah, the first movie makes her look bad, huh?”
Nico sighed, “Will she make it up in the end?”
Will nodded, “Kinda.”
Nico smiled as Mitchie sang ‘This is me’, “She’s still confident after all she’s done, she’s surely to get judged after that.”
Will nodded, “A price to pay for the lie she kept up.”
Nico shook his head, “I would have never been able to face an audience after such a lie being revealed.”
Will smiled, then grabbed Nico’s hand to squeeze it reassuringly. The 2nd Camp Rock Movie then began to play. Half way through the movie Nico shrugged, “Gods she’s so controlling, how does Shane put up with her?”
Will laughed then nudged Nico teasingly, “Just like how I put up with you.”
Nico gave him a glare, “What is that supposed to mean?”
Will raised his hand defensively, “Hey love, I’m just kidding.”
Nico snorted, “If anyone’s controlling between us, it’s you.”
Will rolled his eyes then huffed, “Am not.”
Nico smirked then began to imitate Will, “ You owe me 3 days in the infirmary. Eat more Nico. Sleep more Nico. We’re gonna watch Disney movies whether you like it or not.”
Will pouted, “Sorry…”
Nico chuckled then kissed Will on the cheek, “I’m kidding, love. I know you’re just helping me with what’s best for me.”
Will hummed then nodded. After the 2nd Camp Rock movie ended Nico reached for Will’s bag, “What do we have for lunch here?”
Will smiled, “McDonald’s”
Nico gasped, “You really are allowing junk food that much today.”
Will chuckled as he set up the next movie, “Plus, it’s nearly 5pm, isn’t a bit too late to call it lunch?”
Nico rolled his eyes, “Your fault for bringing such good movies.”
Will then nudged him playfully, “So you are enjoying.”
Nico nodded, “Please stop asking, it’s so hard to admit. What do we have next?”
Will chuckled then pressed the play button, “Descendants trilogy.” When the first song started to play, Nico smirked, “They look so badass. I think I’m gonna like this.”
Will hummed in agreement, “I figured that much when I picked this movie.”
Nico smiled, “I like the way Ben thinks, our parents don't define who we are.” Nico seemed to like the movie more and more as it progressed, while nibbling down at his nuggets. When he found out about Ben knowing this whole time, he gasped, “Oh gods, it’s true love. He loves Mal!” He looked at Will with wide eyes, “He loved her.”
Will chuckled then kissed Nico, “Well someone’s becoming a sap.”
Nico blushed then turned back to the movie, “Whatever, Solace.”
When the 2nd movie played, they’re lunch we’re all out. So Will just opened up another bag of chips. When Mal ran away, Nico had a sad look on his face, and Will immediately knew that he’s relating to her right now. So Will set the chips on a nearby table then put an arm around Nico reassuringly. The two stayed cuddled up until the movie finished.
Nico then smiled again, “I got a feeling that Uma really is a good person.”
Will chuckled, “We’ll see.” Not wanting to spoil anything for his boyfriend. The third movie played as Will pulled out a container of food, he gave Nico half of it, “Eat dinner.” Nico obliged.
Will smiled as Ben proposed to Mal, “That’s one of the sweetest proposals ever. Maybe I’ll do something as sweet in the future.”
Nico smirked, “Not if I propose first.” The two boys blushed as they realized what they both just said.
Nico laughed as Hades was introduced, “Oh gods, just wait till’ my dad sees this.”
Will chuckled nervously, “I don’t think showing him is a good idea.”
Nico hummed agreement, “Probably not.”
When Audrey sang ‘Queen of Mean’, Will sighed, “I feel sorry for her, she’s just pressured and there were just so many expectations, I can’t blame her for allowing herself to be lured by the scepter.”
Nico looked at Will with concern, “You feel the same way, do you? Expectations to be a good head counselor and head medic. That’s why you smile all the time and bottle your problems up.”
Will sighed then a tear fell from his eye, “You see right thru me.”
Nico cupped Will’s cheek then made him face him, “Hey it’s okay. I’ll be here for you no matter what side you show, okay?”
Will nodded, “Okay.”
Nico then smirked, “Just don’t neither turn evil on me nor turn to the darkside.”
Will chuckled as he wiped his tears away, “Are you trying to reference star wars?”
Nico huffed, “This is all your fault.”
Will laughed then they continued to watch the movie. Nico smiled as Evie tried to help everyone in the group get along, “She reminds me of you.”
Will smiled, “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
Nico smiled back, “It is.” After the movie finished, Nico smiled in content, “That barrier really had to come down from the start.”
Will nodded, “Just not for the wrong reasons.”
Nico hummed, “Yeah, those kids deserve a chance to prove themselves.”
Will then leaned his head on Nico’s shoulder, “I remembered a time when you didn’t believe in chances, and yet here you are.”
Nico kissed Will’s forehead, “And you’re one of the people I should thank for that.”
Will blushed, “I’m glad I can help.”
Nico sighed as he looked up the time, “It’s nearly 10:30 pm, but I assume we have one last movie series to watch?”
Will shot up, “Yes! It’s the latest among all, and it’s my personal favorite.”
Nico nodded, “Go play it then.” Will changed the disc for the last time tonight then went back to the couch. This time Nico laid his head on Will’s lap while Will ran his hands soothingly through Nico’s hair. Nico looked up at Will, “So what would our last movie be?”
Wills smirked, “ZOMBIES”
Nico nodded,, “I’m gonna try not to judge from the title.”
Will nodded, “You better not.”
Halfway through was when Nico sighed, “I really feel sorry for the zombies, I mean it’s not their fault they were born that way.”
Will nodded, “Yeah, the racism just isn’t right, huh?”
Nico nodded, “Addison and Zed kinda reminds me of us, though.”
Will smiled, “And why did you think so?”
Nico smirked, “Well, you're from the perfect paradise and I’m living on the darkest side.”
Will gasped in awe, “Did you just quote from the song Someday?”
Nico nodded, “Yup.”
Will grinned, “I’m proud of you.”
Nico rolled his eyes, “But seriously, you’re this happy, perfect guy, who always tries hard to get what he wants, and I’m this guy who’s still trying to fit in, but you know. As long as I have you, I’m happy.”
Will smirked, “Well, if you weren’t a sap before, you definitely are now.”
Nico rolled his eyes, “I try to be romantic, and how do you repay me?”
Will smirked, “Gee, I’m sorry love, I didn’t notice.”
Nico rolled his eyes then grabbed Will’s hand, “Someday, this could be ordinary.” Only then did Will realize that as much as Nico was quoting ‘Someday’, it definitely meant something more than that. He was talking about their gay relationship and the racism still left when it came to their community.
Will squeezed Nico’s hand reassuringly, “We already are ordinary, at least for most.”
Nico nodded then they continued to watch the movie. When it was over, Will played part 2, which was the last movie they had.
Nico sighed as they banned ZOMBIES from prawn, “Just as you thought you were finally being accepted.”
Will looked down at him, “I’m sorry if this hits close to your past situation.”
Nico shook his head, “It’s alright. I don’t mind anyways, as long you accept and love me for the way I truly am.”
Will smiled at this. When they finished the movie, Nico gasped, “So, if she isn’t a Werewolf, then what is she? And what was that scene in the end? They can’t just end it that way!”
Will chuckled, “Calm down, they’re making a part 3. Once it's out, we’ll watch together, okay?”
Nico nodded then yawned. Will smiled at him then kissed him, “Thanks for giving Disney a chance.”
Nico smiled, “I did quite enjoy it. Who knows childish movies can be so relatable?” Nico then yawned again, so Will carried Nico from his lap, bridal style then settled him on his bed. Will fixed their stuff then laid down next to Nico. “Time to sleep, love.”
Nico nodded, “Thanks for a great day.”
Will nodded, “Anytime, love.”
Nico closed his eyes as he murmured sleepily, “I love you, sunshine.”
Will chuckled as he placed a gentle kiss on Nico’s forehead, “I love you too.”
