Ever since she was adopted she has been training for what Baghra claims to be her destiny, to defeat the evil Darkling. But training and real life are very different. When she finally stands in the presence of her enemy, she realizes it won't be as easy to defeat him as she assumed as something inside her calls to him. Can she stop the Darkling, or will she be another piece on the board to fall under his control?
