Work Text:

Thin Man sighed as he watched Six stack baking trays on top of each other. "Really?" He asked her as he warped them away from Six's grasp. The young girl hissed and scampered off. Thin Man rolled his eyes and rubbed his temple.

Him and The Lady had been working on this bakery for two months now, and it was finally able to be open. It took a lot of strings to pull, especially since The Tower was reluctant to have something so bright in the dark and bleak world, but Thin Man wanted to eat somewhere that wasn't full of disgusting things like rats and where the food actually tasted like food. The Lady got involved, mainly to also eat Thin Man's surprisingly good cooking. No customers had come in the first week, but Thin Man didn't really mind as long as he got to bake good food.

Thin Man heard the oven ding open, and teleported to it. He took out the brownies that were in there and smelled them deeply. Heavenly. He went to put the tray in the window that went to the kitchen but not before The Lady swooped in and snatched one from the tray.

She lifted up her mask and took a bite. "Hm. Could have used more sugar." She quipped, but she kept on eating the treat. Thin Man snickered.

"Well if you haven't insisted on bossing me around like a slave maybe I would have had time for it." He said with a smirk. The Lady scoffed.

"Please. We both know you enjoy being bossed around by me, and rightfully so." Thin Man snickered and placed the brownie tray back in the window.

"I wouldn't say I enjoy it." He warped right next to The Lady and leaned in down to her ear. "But I do find it... pleasurable." He whispered the last part, making The Lady flush red and smack him in the face. "Ow!"

The Lady huffed. "Well maybe if you wasn't such a flirt Mono that wouldn't have happened."

Thin Man laughed and looked back at the tray, only to see half of it gone. He rolled his sunken eyes and teleported into the kitchen. He wasn't the least bit surprised to see Six and Mono on the floor underneath the window eating brownies. Thin Man sighed and took the tray, warping away to put the tray on a higher shelf before going back into the kitchen with The Lady.

She smiled at his worn out expression. "Aw, the big bad Thin Man can't have his snacks?"

Thin Man grumbled. "Not a word."
