Summary
Everyone knows that when you touch someone who's going to be important to you for the first time, you'll leave a mark on them. It's not just romantic love; parents and children, siblings, close friends all share marks too. At least, they do in theory. Maddie's the only person who's ever touched Buck and left anything behind.
.
It’s funny, growing up knowing your parents don’t care about you. The kind of funny that would get Evan uninvited from sleepovers, which is why he always changes into his pajamas in the bathroom. The kind of funny that he’s not allowed to ask his parents about. The kind of funny that makes Maddie look at him so sadly sometimes, when she doesn’t realize he can see her out of the corners of his eyes. -

Summary
"I'm Buck."
"Buck," Eddie tests the name out. Buck. He likes that name. It sounds good, warm and safe and comfortingly familiar on his tongue. "You're my husband."
Buck's eyes widen, obviously surprised that Eddie remembered that. See, look? He's recovering remarkably quickly. He'll have his full memory back in no time.
"Your husband," Buck repeats and Chris, for some reason, starts giggling.
"My husband," Eddie agrees happily.
-
Eddie suffers temporary amnesia after an injury at work and makes some assumptions about the nature of his and Buck's relationship.

In other words: a combination "am I becoming my father" panic/kidnapping/family road trip.

Summary
“Look, can you just sign these off? Things need to be processed and taken care of and you’re the only one who can technically do that right now.”
Sam felt like he was suddenly thrust into a surreal dream as the tablet was handed to him with a document displayed. Words like ‘crossroad demon deals’ and ‘torture efficiency’ swam into his vision and Sam blinked his eyes, trying to handle the wave of nausea that hit him.
“I’m...I’m not the King of Hell.”
The demon tilted his head, the nervousness in his stature waned off into dry humor, “Mmm, you kinda are.”
