Atsushi and Akutagawa come face to face that they are similiar in many ways, both also seeking validation. So the two seek some of that between themselves and get a little carried away.
Atsushi goes missing, Akutagawa is feeling something without him and wants to track him down, which he does, but in a way he least expected. After getting chewed out by everyone, Akutagawa accepts the cards on the table in front of him.
