"You can't possibly be serious!!" shouted a fat middle age man as he slammed both of his hand to the meeting table.
The young man who sat on his opposite didn't even flinch though the bodyguards behind the young alpha was now pulling a gun, ready to shot anytime their master signaled them to. But surprisingly, the young man lifted his hand to calm his bodyguards. They're currently inside a VIP room in a five star Chinese restaurant so it would be troublesome to cause a ruckus. Upon their boss' signal, both of them lowered their gun then stand calmly again as if nothing had happened. The young man leaned forward and put his clasped hands at the table, a sinister smirk adorning his handsome face.
"Oh I’m very serious about this Mr. Ohara – the man started as he emitted a heavy scent which successfully made the middle age alpha male trembled in fear – Of course a smart man like you would understand my intention very much so, that's why I advise you to sign the contract while I still asked you nicely, or I could do it by force. Your choice," said the young man, leaning back onto his seat then drank the now cold tea in one gulp.
He watched in amusement the seething man in front of him. A typical selfish CEO who's more barks than bite. Who never care about his subordinates for as long as he lives in luxury just because he's an alpha. It disgusted the strong young alpha to no end. After a few seconds of silence which felt like eternity, the older of the two finally gave in and signed the document offered to him with trembling hand. Either by fear or by rage, the other didn't really care. He slid the lathered map back to his business partner. The younger man took it then closed the map without double checking it.
"Aren't you gonna recheck the deal Uchiha-san? I could have faked my signature," said Mr. Ohara in surprise. His acquaintance only gave him a half smile after he gave the maps to one of his bodyguards.
"I believe you're not mindless enough to do that yes? Since we're done here then I have to apologize to take my leave first. As you can see, I'm a busy man. Well then..."
Obito stood up with no hurry then straightened his personally tailored navy suit. One of his bodyguards helped him putting on his black long coat. He gave his business partner a fake smile but before he exited the VIP room, he gave one last warning to his so called business partner.
"One miss step and I won't hesitate to wipe you all out. Remember that, Mr. Ohara."
Obito smiled calmly when he heard tables and cutleries crashed and thrashed as he walked towards the elevator. Only fools let their emotions get a hold of their own being in mafia world. Once they exited the elevator, Shisui, his own cousin and his personal bodyguard snorted.
"What a way cousin," commented the bodyguard, gone was the stoic nature, making the older Uchiha chuckled.
"I'm not labelled the best for nothing Shisui."
"Truth to be told." was the only reply Obito got. The atmosphere was quite cheery before Kisame, his other bodyguard, decided to open his mouth.
"By the way, congratulation for your pup's birth boss."
Obito stopped dead in his track. With eyes wide full of shock, he slowly turned towards Kisame. Shisui too stared at his friend as if he had grown two heads.
"What...?" asked Obito unsure of himself. Kisame looked at the other two just as weird.
"Itachi message me right before the meeting began that Kakashi-san had gone on a labor. You've always been very protective of him so I'm pretty surprised that you let your omega went through child birth alone," explained Kisame obliviously.
"Kakashi had what?!?!?" asked Shisui incredulously.
"Uh..., gone through labor...?" said Kisame starting to doubt himself.
"HE WHAT?!?!?!?!?" And this was Obito going into a full blown panic.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?!?!?!?" asked Obito as he shook Kisame's shoulders wildly.
"I thought you knew!! You're his husband!!" protested Kisame as he also went into panic himself. All of Obito's subordinates care so much for their boss' sweet and very kind omega mind you.
"When did Itachi message you?!?!? At what hour?!?!?" pressed Obito as the three of them get inside the company car in record time.
"Around one and a half hours ago!" answered Kisame as he stepped on the gas pedal to the airport.
"Shisui! Call Nagato to prepare my private jet!! Make sure we could immediately take off as soon as we got there!!" ordered Obito as he took out his phone to call someone else.
"Roger!!"
After the CEO turned off the airplane mode, messages started to flood his inbox. Starting from his own uncle, Minato, Kushina, Itachi, Rin and many others but none from his own mate. Why didn’t Kakashi call him??? That selfless bastard must think he might disturb Obito’s work. That dummy!!
"Yahiko! – exclaimed Obito when his call was picked even before the first dial tone ended – Prepare my car at the airport!! I'll arrive in one hour top! Make sure there's no traffic!!"
"Roger boss!!"
Obito vaguely felt that Kisame was now breaking the speed limit but he could care less. He needed to get to Kakashi's side as soon as possible. He was about to call Rin when his phone lighted up. Speak of the devil. The man hasn’t even put his phone on his ear yet when Rin's voice blaring through the whole car that the former had to hold out his phone.
"UCHIHA OBITO!! WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU THINKING LEAVING YOUR 35 WEEKS OLD PREGNANT OMEGA ALONE?!?!?!?!?"
"I thought the due date was next week!! And Kakashi said he was fine!!" said Obito in a weak attempt of saving his life from the female doctor.
"YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT!!! When a pregnant person has already entered their last month of pregnancies they're NOT to be left alone!!! Whether they're in their 34th or even 36th weeks you cannot determinate its due that's why YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT LEAVE THEM YOU AHOBITO!!!!"
"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry alright!! How was Kakashi now??? Is he okay??? Has the operation started yet??? How's the pup???"
"Kakashi's still in labor. Tsunade-san and Itachi had taken him to the operation room. Without his alpha the labor is much harder to get through so hurry and get your stupid ass over here!!"
The phone was hung up before Obito could ask anymore question. He sprouted out some profanities then asked Kisame to speed up even more. Traffic rules be damn, he can deal with that later.
Once they got to the airport, the three of them literally sprinted to Obito's readied private jet. The whole journey home was spent with the mafia boss fretting in his seat and both bodyguards making phone calls here and there because of the changed schedules.
Yahiko had already waited with Obito's personal car when the latter came running out of Narita Airport. He threw a very brief thanks to his subordinate before speeding off to Tokyo hospital where his mate's waiting for him.
By the time the raven haired man arrived in front of the operating room he was a complete mess. Long coat and suit gone, leaving him only in his navy shirt and askew tie. He was still panting – out of breath after running eight floors to get there coz the elevator took too long – when he heard the sound of a crying infant. All of them waiting there instantly froze for a second before Tsunade got out, taking off her medical mask and showing a happy smile.
"The child birth is successful. Congratulations for the baby boy," said the doctor and everyone broke out in joy.
"Yokatta ttebane!" cheered Kushina as she hugged Minato who's also laughing happily.
"THANK GOODNESS!! I KNOW MY YOUTHFULL RIVAL COULD DO IT!!"
"Yokatta ne~!" cheered Rin as she side hugged Genma.
Tobirama and Izuna smiled in relief while Madara struggled to calm Hashirama who's bawling his eyes out of pure joy. Obito was still rooted in his spot, he suddenly don't know what to do or how to react. He felt someone ushered him into the operating room and he just walked on autopilot.
The smell of heavy disinfectant and copper assaulted Obito's nose right when he entered the room. He was used to the coppery smell of blood, used to be bathed in it considering his line of work but this time the smell, oddly enough, had made him gag. But then his eyes landed on the hospital bed just a few feet in front of him.
There laid the love of his life, his back propped up with pillows, his face tired and full of sweat with a small smile grazing his lips, his silver hair clinging to his forehead and he was cradling a small bundle in his chest. Obito took slow steps towards Kakashi and their eyes locked when they're within arm reach. The omega gave a tired yet happy smile and it did strange things to Obito's heart.
"Kouki look – Kakashi said so softly to his first pup – Its papa," whispered the omega which made the alpha shifted his focus on the small infant that still snuggled comfortably on his mother's chest. He's still felt tongue tied until Kakashi's soft hand took his calloused one.
"Obito, it's okay – the omega emitted his scent to calm his nervous husband – Come closer, look at our son," coaxed Kakashi as the other finally stood beside him.
Obito sat beside his mate carefully, mindful of his still weak state, then looked at the newborn pup. It was so tiny and fragile that Obito's afraid it might break if he as far as touch it. Kakashi snuggled closer to him when Obito rounded one arm around the Hatake. It's when Kouki opened his eyes – beautiful stormy grey just like his mother – that the dam broke loose. Obito's vision became blurry, tears streaming endlessly from his eyes.
"Oh my God," choked Obito as he covered his own eyes. His lips felt like it's gonna split for how wide he's grinning. Kakashi smiled wider at the scene. He kissed the corner or Obito's lips briefly and got a much longer kiss pressed on his sweaty temple. The Uchiha couldn’t believe that he has managed to have a son with the love of his life. His son. Their son.
"He's beautiful! – there's a hitch on the alpha's voice as he caressed his son's cheek tenderly with the back of his finger – He's prefect! You're perfect!"
The omega giggled at the sappiness of this notorious mafia boss. It's not every day you get to see the leader of the most fearful mafia group crying his heart out. Kouki seemed to be agreed with his mother as he let out a very cute baby whine which successfully made the whole ward swooned.
"Congratulation Papa wolf," teased the silver haired omega then kissed Obito's cheek. The alpha sniffed hard then laughed too.
"Thank you Kashi – he said as he nuzzled his face on his mate neck, scenting him – I love you so so much," said Obito, earning him another pretty smile from his husband. The next whine coming from their pup made them laughed. The new parents looked at their pup with so much fondness. The alpha nuzzled onto Kouki's tiny body so their scent mix together then kissed his chubby cheek.
"You too, welcome to the world brat."
