Work Text:

Kazuha brisk walked to his residence, tears threatening to fall. What Scaramouche said.. Did he mean it? Will everyone eventually leave? Will Scaramouche.. grow tired of Kazuha and leave him..?

The ruby eyed boy dashed to his room, ignoring his mother's calls. He slammed his room door shut and leaned against it, sinking down until he sat with his arms hugging his knees. He didn't want Scaramouche to leave him, he loved him so much. The tears that wanted to fall rolled down the boy's cheeks, Scaramouche can't leave him, he wouldn't. Right?

Kazuha thought but remembered how harsh his words were to him, so very harsh. Scaramouche really didn't like him, did he? So he never had a chance with his beloved from the start? He couldn't help but let out a laugh, what was so funny? It hurt, it hurt so much.

Kazuha sat at the stairs of his home, he left his keys inside and no one was home to let him in, all he could do was sit outside and wait for his parents. The boy watched as kids his age run around, playing with each other. Oh, if only his friends lived close enough.

A boy with violet eyes fell backwards, pushed by some of the kids running past him. "Hey, are you okay?" Kazuha got up and rushed to the boy who had fallen over, "It's none of your business," Geez, rude much? Though he still offered his hand to help him get up, to which the violet boy accepted and pulled himself up.

Soon after, they always found themselves seeing each other again. Kazuha began to look forward to seeing him, and soon developed a crush on him. He was just so beautiful, even the night sky he loved so much couldn't compare.

Kazuha felt more tears begin to fall, he wiped them away with his sleeves but they just kept falling. Scaramouche really didn't like him, huh? Of course, why would he? Kazuha is just a stupid, simple-minded boy who believed in something so stupid as the stars. Stupid, stupid, stupid.. If only he didn't bother to help the boy who was pushed down by some kids. Kazuha wouldn't be crying so badly over that very boy he loved so much.

Oh, curse his stupidity.

A friend of mine wanted a sequel.
