Day 7 - Selfie

Morisuke heaved a sigh as his court mate swiped through his phone. “Aw…another bad one.”
“Let me try!” The omega exclaimed, snatching the phone from Lev.

“That’s way too much chin for me,” Lev grumbled, taking the phone back.
Morisuke and Lev were currently at a theme park. It was a day-long excursion they’d planned for nearly a month, and now here they were under the massive, colorful sign of the venue, trying to take a photo for the sake of memories.
Only probably being, with a foot of height difference between them, selfies were a struggle.
When Lev tried to take it, the angle would be Morisuke craning his neck or just the top of his head and face.
When Morisuke took it, Lev was hunched over, and pretty much the only thing visible was the bottom of his chin.
“This is impossible! Just forget it.” Morisuke insisted, taking Lev by the hand and making to drag him into the park.
“No way! What if I wanna make a scrapbook?” Lev whined, planting his feet and leaving Morisuke tugging at him fruitlessly.
“Well, I’m not about to stand out here trying to take a good selfie for twenty minutes! That’s how long it took us to get a decent one last time!”
The theme park music hummed on in the background, sounds of merriment carrying from beyond the park gates to the front. Families were heading past, as well as younger couples and groups of friends. Meanwhile, Lev was still fiddling with his phone as Morisuke stood next to him, fuming.
“Hey, how about this?” He exclaimed before promptly squatting back on his heels.
“Now you’re taller than me!”
“Get up before I punch you.” Morisuke hissed, still very much touchy about matters that directly concerned his height.
Specifically the nearly absurd height difference between himself and his alpha.
Lev was quick to pop back up to his typically towering perspective, giving a nervous laugh. “Never mind, then, bad idea.”
Morisuke sighed again, letting his head droop to one side. “This is stupid.”
“Wanna just ask someone to take a photo of us?”
“How corny can you get? No way.”
So again, the two were left trying to solve their predicament, but it only resulted in several more awful selfies and Morisuke reaching the end of his rope.
“You know what? Give me that!” He took the phone before stalking away from the park gates.
“Mori! Hold on, don’t leave!”
“I’m not! Just stay there!” Morisuke insisted, walking about ten feet away and lifting the phone up.
“Smile!”

Morisuke checked over the photo with a huff of satisfaction, then walked to Lev again. “There you go.”
He handed the phone back to the alpha, who looked at the photo eagerly.
“Whoa! Perfect!”
Morisuke took the photo with Lev in the back by use of perspective, but the two of them were clearly visible. It was certainly photo book-worthy.
“Yay!” Lev scooped Morisuke off the ground and did a spin, causing his court mate to unleash a firestorm of curses and then put him down again.
“Let's go!” This time, he was the one who seized Morisuke’s hand, and off they went into the park.
They would continue to implement this selfie strategy at other venues in the future, and if it got them a couple funny looks, so be it.
It was better than having a scrapbook full of the top of Morisuke’s head and Lev’s chin to show the kids.
