Work Text:
She beds with Qui-Gon first. The same night of the attempts on her life. He's grown wiser since they last parted. She still remembers seeing the mark Darth Maul placed on him as he protected her life all those years ago on Naboo. His warm smile, the one that kept her warm on the coldest, loneliest nights.
"Are you sure?" he asks, the caring tone of his voice weakens her greatly. The aching pit in her belly fills with heat.
"Yes," she says, no trace of doubt or regret, seals their fate for the night, as well as the fate of galaxy.
~
She takes Obi-Wan to bed next. Of course she does. He's older now, the dimpled face she fantasized about, now surrounded by a beard that promises her endless tickles shifts on her thigh. She ready, she has been for years.
"You, are okay with this, a hundred percent?" he inquiries
"A hundred percent," she says back

Anakin is her last bed mate. On Tatooine, his grief reasons with her empathy. As time goes by she realises how different but the same he is to his masters. A handsome young man replaces the same innocent boy she met she all those years ago.
"Are you okay with this?" he asks before hand. Another small thing he shares with his masters.
"On Naboo, love comes in many forms," she says quietly.
~
Later, Anakin is suppose to escort her back to Naboo, alone. She suggest Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon come with.
"We can wait till they are available," she says calmly.
Anakin chimes, "it would be best, especially, since Dooku escape."
Yoda doesn't seem all to happy about being remind of that face. So in the end he relents.

Now, standing at the balcony of her apartment she looks around her. Here when the time is right she'll built a nursery right here. She's known that since her own sister started her own family. She also know her future children will be loved by all. Her, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, her family, Anakin's family, her handmaidens, even the Jedi. She looks at the men around she smiles and wonders of her future children brown locks tinted with blond or red.
But those thoughts are for later, Padmé knows. She's always been impatient, always wanting to jump ahead into the middle of the story. To both her parents joy and exasperation.
Now is time for patience. Though none of them possess that skill.
"We make a good team," she says "all four of us"
Anakin looks at them and smiles, "Together"
"Nearly unstoppable as some might say," Obi-Wan signs happily.
Qui-Gon nods along as Anakin blurted "and to think masters, you said you didn't like politicians," he teases them.
Obi-Wan smiles, "I think we can make one exception," he said fondly.
Padmé smirks, "Well this politician is going to bed, the Jedi can join her if that so wish."
The three look at eachother, before Anakin breaks the silence, "I'm game if you are masters." he says.
Obi-Wan looks unsure, Qui-Gon is studying the three of them with keen eyes. Obi-Wan speaks, only slightly hesitant, "Are you both sure?"
Padmé reaches across him taking his hand and his master's in her right and Anakin's in her left. "Yes," she says, sealing their fate in the future.
