Chapter Text

“Who are you?” The woman demanded of him. She brandished a vibro-blade towards his midsection. No matter how fast she would be, he was undoubtedly faster. She wouldn’t know he moved until her head was off her body, left to do naught but stare at her decapitated body.

Behind her, her son shone with a brightness that would have the Empire at her doorstep in days. The child giggled with childish glee at having someone new to play with. His attention was brought back to the mother who blocked any attempt at viewing the boy. The last peek of the child’s blond hair brought back unbridled memories.

The youngling peeked from behind Master Tiin’s chair.

Many other initiates felt it safe to leave their hiding places as their counterpart had done, after seeing who had entered.

“Master Kenobi, there are too many of them, what are we going to do?” Never had they felt as scared as they did watching the troopers invade the Temple, slaughtering their own.

Sors’ face was illuminated by the hue of a blue lightsaber.

The man at her doorstep’s hooded figure lifted his head. His eyes were puffy and red. At his side, he ignited his weapon.

“Who are you?” She asked, hand trembling now.

“My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi and there will be no more Vaders.”
