Summary
The daughters of Arne Erikson were brought up to know three things: how to fight, that family comes before all else, and that any son of Ragnar the Fearless can be trusted to keep his word.
After their lord, Ragnar, is murdered in the night, the sisters must decide where their loyalties lie; with the Danes and their late lord’s woman, Brida, or with Ragnar the Fearless’ Saxon son, Lord Uhtred of Bebbenburg.
