A year ago, Kaeya swore that Black Sun would fall even if led him to his death. He had nothing more to live for - his siblings were dead, and the rest of his connections were safer without him. When an old acquaintance grants him his wish, what he gets is something unexpected: another chance at life as one Gaia Alberich, the doomed antihero type of a famous RPG game.
Armed with the knowledge of how the plot (mostly) goes, Kaeya promises himself to see the end of this game without the sacrifices and hopefully get the peace that he deserves.
