   I tried to write a fix-it universe for little nightmares a while ago but after finally watching little nightmares 2 I basically had to pitch the entire universe (it was still working with the assumption that little nightmares 2 was a sequel and... mono wasn't... you know.)
   So! Me and a friend decided "fuck it, what if we make a small town au where everyone's just fucking nice to each other for once."
   And then... the more we talked about it... the darker it got.
   We finally settled on "what if the thin man's time loop actually changed the entire world around him, you know, butterfly effect style, and in some timelines the Pale City wasn't even a city."
   So now we have a version of little nightmares that is just as fucked up as canon but in a much more subtle way. Which might make it worse.
   I feel like this is going to have a little bit of a stranger things vibe (don't come at me I never watched it) with dashes of The Promised Neverland (friend's current hyperfixation), written in the style of one of those midwestern memoirs your english teacher made you read in the 8th grade.
   Oh, regular updates never.
