Work Text:
"Yours?" He tilts his head, black curls brushing his eyelashes, "I'd kill a hundred, a thousand lives if it meant saving yours."
Jason sucks in a breath, reading the truth of that statement in those burning green eyes. "My life is not worth the loss of others." He is so quiet even the trees strain to hear him.
"Your life is worth entire universes and I will obliterate them all if it guaranteed you would wake up beside me every day." Percy's voice is soft in a way his is not. Soft with danger. With promise. With deadly precision.
A cool hand, like silver rings, caresses his cheek, warm breath fanning his eyelashes as their foreheads rest together. "My life is nothing without yours."
"You have family, friends," He shudders, the weight of worlds resting against his chest. "They need you here, no matter what."
"You are my family," Percy bring them closer, pressing their bodies together like he can mold them into one being. "You are my friend. Before anything and anyone else."
"What about–“
He is cut off by a warm mouth, brushing over his gently. He feels skin like feathers and heat like fires and he doesn't know where his head starts and his feet stand.
"There is no exception." His heart whispers. "It is you over the world. Every time."
